This was the kind of smash mouth Nov cold weather game you have to win to advance into playoff rounds past the initial round . I’m afraid as it stands now a wildcard if that much is a one and done look.

rodgers has looked mortal the last five games prior and he didn’t really have anyone to throw too until we made Watson a household name….we should have deferred. We’re on the road and we’ve shown that we can get back into a game prior to halftime.

last game we scored 4 Straight TDs to begin the game and won 49-29..when we lose somehow now its an issue.

its not on the GM or influenced, just how maybe practices have went and a gut feeling from the HC. was super nice field position from the KO run so should have wen better.

In OT I want the ball first . Until the flags started flying the offense was headed for at least 3 maybe more . In OT do not want Rodgers on the field if at all possible .

To start the game it shows confidence in your O . Deferring is a recent phenomenon. Teams that won toss usually took the field thinking score in the not so distant past . MM & KM are not wedded to “ analytics “. Good or bad as it turns out . KM should have kept the ball on the ground on that last drive and MM should have insisted on it .

you mean after that 20 yard first down run that was called back and put us behind the chains, how many penalties on us then have a PI No call on mugging... you simply have to throw it certain downs and distances.GB didn't win solely on the run, is Watson a RB?

that loss didn't come down to run vs pass balance so many penalties created some pass situations that tilted that balance toward pass.it happens. can we go back to losig14 point lead and cant stop cold in OT? its a defense on downward trend for 2 weeks.. never should lose a 14-point leading the 4th..

We have deferred in some games, but McCarthy obviously felt it was better to take the ball and try and get off to a good start. With Rodgers on the other side it was probably the best move. You don’t want to start the game off down 7-0 to Aaron Rodgers. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the offense going early.

He came back from 14 down and was mortal in this game. D couldn't stop the run. The right choice was to take the ball especially how he has torched us in the past.

MM's EGO! Same reason they barely ran with the lead. McCarthy is known for this kind of stuff. Actually he did the same thing in GB. Throwing with the lead and stopping the clock for the other team.

If this team runs more in the 4th quarter. There isnt enough time for Rodgers to come back. Alas. Here we are.

On 3 and 4th and what 3 yards maybe 4 not a run on either down yes Malik Davis fresh legs can grind 3, 4 yards

with the way the defense played in 4th quarter, do you really want to defer? and have them score a TD and game over....

you would be here screaming the exact opposite if that happened.
