Aren't the odds pretty much 50/50? I thought I remembered hearing that.

with the way the defense played in 4th quarter, do you really want to defer? and have them score a TD and game over....

you would be here screaming the exact opposite if that happened.

Why did they choose not to start the game by kicking to the opposite team thereby giving the Cowboys the opportunity to receive the opening kick of the 2nd half? I hope this clears up my point.
