At what time do we decide to close the roof? Shut the curtains? Any weather advantage would be a disadvantage for us surely.

Maybe im just getting the jitters before our SB assault

No, should not be a problem. If the temp stays as cold as it is predicted to be, the roof will be shut.

I think Jerry has to notify the league or something within an hour or two of kickoff.

I think the roof will be closed and the only thing that will be cold is those Philthy Eagles after we run them out of the building!

Cold weather doesn't really play into the game IMO. Living in the midwest I'm use to it and always enjoyed playing when it was cold. Wind and rain are really the only weather situations that effect an offensive game plan.

I hope the roof's closed and the ground opens up and swallows the Eagles

Question. What possible reason would we have for NOT shutting up the roof, closing the end zones, etc.???? A closed in stadium is MUCH louder than an open stadium. It traps the noise in and we could definitely use that to our advantage when the Buzzards have the ball on offense. We need it to be LOUD!!!!!!!!!!

In a Dome?

I just hope Jerry turns the vents off in the endzone where Suisham and Akers missed the FG's. That ball Akers kicked did some weird stuff. :laugh2:

I just realized that the Cowboys could get to the superbowl and not play outside if we keep winning. We play in Minn (dome), then either to NO (dome) or Dallas (kinda dome).

None honestly. Why else have the option?

well the place will be closed up for sure.

and here is a fun stat.

the coldest game ever played at texas stadium was 27 degrees and it was against philly in the 95 divisional round, played in january 1996.

the last two days have been the coldest days in north texas since 1996.,

I definitely believe that.

It is cold as a mofo outside.

I was at the playoff game against the Cardinals at the end of the 1998 season. It was very cold that day. That is something that won't be an issue at the new stadium. I am sure the roof is closed right now and won't be open for a while.

You have zero to worry about. The roof will be closed (despite my hatred for football being played indoors, football should always be played in the elements. Domes were the start of the wussification of football fans. Cannot stand indoor stadiums)

Coldest days and last time we won a playoff game... Coincidence?

I think not.

And Texans still know NOTHING about cold. It was 40 below zero here last night and 20 below today and it's been that way for most of the last week.
