That stat is a little shocking, IMO. I know he's really quick, but just never would have guessed him if asked that.

Year 1 - 10 games, 24 targets, 15 receptions, 128 yards, 8.5 yards per catch 0 tds
Year 2 - 14 games, 55 targets, 39 receptions, 368 yards, 9.4 yards per catch, 2 tds
Year 3 - 16 games, 49 targets, 37 receptions, 420 yards, 11.4 yards per catch, 4 tds

Edelman
Year 1 - 11 games, 54 targets, 37 receptions, 359 yards, 9.7 yards per catch, 1 td
Year 2 - 15 games, 14 targets, 7 receptions, 86 yards, 12.3 yards per catch, 0tds
Year 3 - 13 games, 8 targets, 4 receptions, 34 yards, 8.5 yards per catch, 0 tds
Year 4 - 9 games, 32 targets, 21 receptions, 235 yards, 11.2 yards per catch, 3 tds
Year 5 - 16 games, 151 targets, 105 receptions, 1,056 yards, 10.1 yards per catch, 6 tds
Year 6 - 14 games, 135 targets, 92 receptions, 972 yards, 10.6 yards per catch, 4 tds

I think with more targets, Beasley can be just as good a player if not better than Edelman. And I think giving him the ball more will increase our 3rd down conversion rate even more.

Edelman reaps the benefit of playing in an offense with a great QB and no weapons around him. I believe Beasley is just as good as him. I doubt many people outside of this fan base would agree with me.

I think if you swap players, Beasley's catching 90 balls for 1,000 yards in New England.

I'm a little biased obviously, But I was glad he finally broke out a little bit towards the end of the season. The slot receiver has become very important in every offense now and He's the best. He would have huge numbers but Dez and Witten are going to get most of the action. The guy is literally open on every play and I do think his numbers go up this year

Can't tackle someone you can't get a hold of. His height in this case is an advantage.

He also has very strong legs for a guy his size. I said it before, you can't dunk a Bball being 5' 8" unless you have some power in your legs.

I like Beasley. I thought he would be broken in half by now, but he's found a way not to take killer hits which is important for a player of his size.

He's also already taken some hard shots and gets up . He got some Mike Renfro in him.

Absolute sick he can slam a basketball..

One thing to be able to jump that high at that height..but the landing has to be painful falling from that high in the air.

The ability to avoid hits is a professional necessity for him.

At his size he's one hit away from his career being over. Against some MLBs he might give up almost 50 lbs!

In the "not for long" there always a full target hit waiting for you somewhere.
