Cole Beasley? Had the highest yardage total of anyone on the field Sunday. Yah, lets get rid of Beasley, Daks new security blanket :rolleyes:

Beasley is an over-achiever. He is 5-7, 175 and made it in the NFL. He doesn't even have freak speed like Tavon Austin or Sproles.

Dez is the ultimate under-acheiver. He had success only because of elite physical ability.

He's only a damn hard worker and never gave up on the Cowboys, despite being challenged to own up to the NFL as a rook. He's earned at least MY respect for taking the walk...being kicked to his posterior side...dusting off...and continuing with the mission.

By the way, have you seen a recruiter?

No, I'm not. If I recall correctly, Beasley had some personal issues back home during camp and for a brief moment he didn't want to play football. There was a lot on his mind then. But this was how many seasons ago- maybe like six?- that I don't even think about it anymore.

Cole Beasley is one of my favorite players. He's overcome a lot- his size, not being drafted, being labeled a "system WR" at SMU, etc.. And he was the one offensive player from week one that had a good game.

Who wants to rid Beasely? If we have that useless cur TWills on the team, why cut our superstar WR who has 73 yards receiving?

To be fair it's hard to have much more than that when your QB is throwing the ball into the turf.
