You guys aren't even reading the thread. You're just responding to argue and be snarky.

He said:

To which I responded:

My point was, we have a receiver on the roster who is a good return man and he isn't going anywhere. I don't see any reason to add that as a criteria for another receiver. Also, given how long it took them to trust Lucky, I don't think another rookie receiver is going to have much shot.

What this team needs is A) a complete offensive redesign and B) a guy who they trust to take the top off the defense.

I haven't been snarky. Just a different opinion of what I want with a WR pick and what Lucky is capable of.

Coleman will be drafted waaay before the middle rounds. He should be a late first early 2nd pick and only reason he falls that far is because of his sports hernia surgery. The guy only won the Biletnikoff (best WR in college) and scored an insane amount of TDs (20) in 2015.

We'll see what happens. I'll be interested to see how scouts evaluate his play after his lost his QB, when his stats took a nose dive. If I take a receiver in the first or even early second, I expect a guy who I think can be a number one someday. Coleman isn't that guy.

He's a 4.3 guy all day.. I still prefer Treadwell though.

Treadwell will be a top 20 pick though. And he's a really similar player to to Dez. I think we need some speed at our #2 WR. Someone who can stretch the field and take the top off the defense. Don't have that right now.

what's the deal with him ? I like will fuller from ND too but if he's gone I think we should target Coleman. In fact , I really like some things about him better. He looks like the perfect #2 WR that can really stretch the field. Now , Im saying this all from viewing his amazing youtube videos . Any Baylor fans that can tell us more about him?

Ps Can someone post some highlights of him so we can see him ! I don't know how to do it lol .

the biggest issue with Coleman is his size 5'10. Considering Dez has had multiple surgeries on his foot it would be wise to take bigger WR who can fill in as #1 in a pinch if Dez misses time. I think Coleman will be good on right team but he is bad fit for Dallas.

Read the thread. He said he wanted a receiver who could be used in the return game.

That's not a matter of talent, which Whitehead clearly displayed when put back there. That is a matter of decision making by the coaches. Do you think they're suddenly going to trust another rookie to come in and handle return duties?

If that rookie has the last name of 'McCaffrey', I sure dang hope that they would suddenly trust him. Please ignore that he's only a sophomore. I was just answering your question. :D

If McCaffery was in this draft I don'tn think it would even be a discussion. He would definitely be an option.
