I watched the game for a second time, and it was very illuminating.

I originally thought they abandoned the run too early, but we were just mauling them with the front seven. Particularly Ratliff. They had a little counter to the right offensive side that worked OK (gain of 8), but that was about it.

They had some success stopping the run, but they were selling out the linebackers to stop the run. Everybody has been wondering why Witten was running free so often. That was why.

Bottom line, our defensive line is too physical for them, so we can leave the safeties back to prevent big plays. Our offensive line is too physical for them to leave their guys sitting in coverage. It is a huge advantage for us.

I can't remember the last time that I watched an Eagles/Cowboys game and thought we were the more physical team. Even the game in Philly this year seemed an even match. Not so much last week.

Cowherd just picked the Cowboys to win the game on his radio show. Trey Wingo and Mark Schlerth were able to convince him Dallas would win, so he changed his pick from Philly to Dallas.

And the funny part is, I thought Peters did a decent job on Ware.

Spencer/Ratliff/Bowen/Hatcher all are capable of winning 1 on 1 match-ups.

Bowen and Hatcher are looking like must re-signs.

It sticks out bigtime on TV. Doesn't take a genius to see it.

Colin Cowherd just rescinded his "Eagles will win the game" declaration.

He said that 2 people that he respects very much that know the game of football inside and out said that that Cowboys are just physically better then the Eagles in the trenches and you cannot close that gap in 6 days.

He says the Cowboys will win this game and that is by far the best game this weekend.

Man, I am so excited.

I agree that this is our strength. Both offensively and on defense. I don't know another playoff team with a group playing better right now. Maybe, B-more, NY Jets, or Minny. Those teams may be better on one side of the ball, but collectively I think Dallas is at the top or close to it.

Oh fine, he can hop on the bandwagon but hes taking a seat in the back. His legs can hang off it..and I'm not giving up my spot at shotgun on the Wade Phillips bandwagon!

I don't think there is much room left. But, Cowturd best bring some beer with him. And not that foreign ale crap.

We might agree on the Cowboys, but if Cowherd brought Newcastle Brown Ale, we'd immediately be best friends.

I've been in restaurants in northeast Texas that charged more for Shiner because they didn't classify it as a domestic beer. It happened once and I thought that the waitress was confused. It happened at another place and I thought that is just plain screwy.

you have a problem with foreign beer? even going so far as to call it crap?

your socks must be "Made in 'merica"....

I am not sure, but, I don't need socks. And I wanted Cowturd to bring beer. You like socks more then beer? Cool, different strokes for different folks.

Beat me to it. Cowherd could do himself a favor and watch the sports which he is so opinionated about more often. Some of his stuff is so farfetched sometimes that it leaves you wondering just what the heck is he basing his observations upon.

Cowherd is one of the most clueless sports "experts" out there. It was really funny yesterday on his show he was talking about Dallas/Philly. He was totally buying into the Philly didn't try gig and was picking Philly right and left. Then he had Sal Palontonio on there fully expecting Sal to agree with him and Sal said that Dallas was bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic than Philly. Cowherd was stunned.

Cowterd is not the only one either. McFlabb, Cotton Candy Andy knows this too. We are better and more importantly we will be fired up come game time. Kind of similar to when we went to Candle Stick...I cannot wait.

He needed somebody to tell him Dallas was better in the trenches? Why does he even have a job discussing football if he can't even see the obvious? smh.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It was pretty obvious last Sunday!

I've been gone from Texas (Mansfield) now for 17 years. Is there still Lone Star beer? I'm not a beer snob. To me, the art is finding the best cheap beer, and drinking a lot of it.

I agree. I think the Jets have a better run offense but they are no where near what we are offensively. MN may have a better run defense but its close. I don't follow Bal well enough to comment on them but they have a good D. Their offense is not the equal to ours. Right now we can play with anyone.

He's clueless too often to have really kept up on his own. He's just mouthing off what he's hearing. He has no true voice of his own. He's just a talking head with no real clue.
