Colin Cowherd. I never understood why Tony Romo was hated by Cowboy fans

Romo was certainly fallible. However, when you go down and your team can only manage one more win out of the remaining 12 games, maybe that lends some credibility to the argument that the guy was not surrounded by a whole lot of talent. Contrast that to when Dak got injured and Cooper Rush came in and the Cowboys won 4 out of the 5 games he played in - the one loss coming at the expense of the Eagles, who just happened to represent the NFC that year in the Super Bowl. Good teams still find ways to win games even when a star player goes down.
The Cowboys imploded actually when Romo was out the way Dak fans think the Cowboys would if Dak is gone.

Meanwhile, Cooper Rush, a QB nobody wanted after his release, is 5-1 with Daks roster.
