You knew this was coming. Nick Wright was already talking about it last Friday. He was saying exactly this... the Cowboys are in a no win. If they hammer the Giants, it will be see... this is what they always do. Its so easy to dismiss Cowboys wins... but yet the Niners had lot 3 in a row and win one game yesterday and all the analysts were saying... see, this is who we thought the niners were. they are back and again the best team in the NFC....lol

This is why I no longer watch these shows.... all garbage.

Before we crushed the Rams Cowherd was singing their praises... they have a real coach, one of best defensive players of the past decade, Puka and Cooper are seriously legit, and a SB winning QB. You could also look at it another way. First, they trounced a VERY BAD team and get to play another one next week. Second, there are still 8 games left so rather than giving Dak the MVP award and crowning the Cowboys champions now, let's stay focused and try to build some consistency. There is still plenty of time for the wheels to fall off again, so keep the heads out of the clouds. They won 1 game, that's it. Move on to the next one.

why do you think the OP isn't happy with a win, especially a win against a team we should/did destroy? This is a legit conversation surrounding our QB, and nothing is being made up. Do we need these threads after each win? Probably not, but this is a discussion forum last time I checked

• Beat them HISTORICALLY (biggest yardage differential since 1966, ZERO third downs allowed, bench the starting offense by Q4) - MEH, they always beat up on weaklings
• Play down and win a close game - MEH, same old, playing down to the competition
• Lose - SAME OLD Cowboys, I always knew they were overrated.

If you get sucked in by talking heads like Herd, you're gullible and feeding into the engine.
If you FEEL any of those things, why even enjoy sports if you can't enjoy win weeks?

I'm enjoying the ride as long as it continues.
But most of us know that the real season begins in the playoffs.
So be as giddy as you must. We have to win the regular games to get to the playoffs.
But understand that Dak and the Cowboys' are going to be judged by what they do in the post season, especially as it relates to Philly and San Francisco.
This team has talent. Even division foes don't double up on their opponents 40-0 and 49-17.
But it's going to take more from the coaching staff, the defense and Dak to get to where we/they want to go.
Hope this year is different, but I have my doubts.

If you are upset Dallas bullied yet another bad team, then write the NFL and tell them their scheduling sucks and that Dallas should only play Super Bowl contenders every week.

Otherwise just admit that when Dallas does not play a Top Team, you're going to be mad regardless of a win, loss or tie.

It is fine not to get over hyped. I’m not. But it is also ok to enjoy a win no matter what. Which I do.
Some don’t seem to be able to.
And it is a cop out …oh, playoffs, playoffs.. Just enjoy the season and wins. Concern oneself when the playoffs are actually here.
