Colin: "It's the same recipe for success"

Just look at the win-loss record of any team that successfully runs the ball, not just the Cowboys, even in this passing league it's still football 101.
I know. Like I say, until you're 14 points down, run the ball.

Good ol’ Cowherd. Does he still think Sam Darnold is better than Dak Prescott?

Love him or hate him - he isn't wrong about what he is saying here. Dak Prescott is and will always be an average QB who can help you win games provided you allow him to manage the game rather than be the main attraction.
EXACTLY.

In his rookie year, when he threw much less, he made far fewer mistakes; hence the Cowboys had a much higher giveaway/takeaway ratio

People all over Rush because he only had 100 yards yesterday. Why? What did you want? You wanted to throw it all around in a tight game? Really? Because many of you also say you want to see us run the ball more and just win. Which is it? Some of you all are really confused I think.

The same people would crucify Dak for a 100 yard passing WIN. Yet they want to continue this formula when he comes back. I do too, but I'm willing to accept less gaudy stats because it comes with the territory. Let's just support the starting QB whoever he is. I love the Rush win streak and Dak has had multiple win streaks in his career (without this defense). We're fortunate to have both.

It's dwindling excuses that this team is highly successful without Dak.
Rush restored order after that Dak-led game 1 debacle. He's doing exactly what they ask.
Dak isn't capable of that he sucks at reading the field and being comfortable in the pocket

offense scored 13 points. defense, special teams gifted us with 9 points (almost 10 if not for a missed PAT execution). essentially with that defense, another field goal and we win.

offense needs to be better.

This is true. But around here it can't be. The only thing some cowboys fans can accept is to blame Dak.

Look at Aikman. He never lit it up. Who has the best offense in the NFL right now? Eagles most likely and Hurts and company are doing it on the ground and air.

300 plus yards is typically a stat of a losing teams QB.

Rush didn't restore order. Kellen Moore did.
And mostly this defense did.

Nice Job Rush though. I'm glad we have a backup who wont try to be a gunslinger and throw the game away like Wentz.
