Philly and Miami are able to make moves because they are on rookie contracts.

When guys like Tua and Hurts are getting their second contact, it’s going to be similar to or more than what the market is now.

Josh Allen goes from 16 million per year to 39,41,51,46. They will make changes. Look at the Rams this year.

There are only so many Mahomes and Allen’s in the world.

You’re either Indianapolis, Dallas, Minnesota, SF, Washington etc overpaying for above average QB play.

Or your like Carolina struggling to find anything.

He’s a clown, but he’s not wrong. Doesn’t matter to dak, he has the generational money and will go down meaningless in Dallas Cowboy history.
It’s not Dak. It’s the market. Teams will be forced to overpay guys like Dak, Wentz etc. just in hopes you’re not Carolina,Cleveland etc desperately trying to find average

Cowherd nailed it! All these fools keep saying the salary cap is going up and soon he won't be even top 5 in salary. We'll 49 mil a year for Dak is a complete joke. Can't afford to sign any FAs. Oh well! Another dumb front office signing.

They will restructure it like they always do. His cap won’t be anywhere near $49 million

I don't even have to watch the video to know he is wrong.

Just go back and watch him tell us how great Wentz is to know no one should ever listen to, let alone repost, what this clown has to say about anything

He takes about Wentz being elite and better than Dak and how Sam Darnold was going to be better than Lamar Jackson, Is a reason not to take his QB takes seriously. And the only ones who really do on this forum are those who have an agenda.

love the last two lines. People forget that and expect to get the next Justin Herbert every year.

Easy to forget that Goff and Wentz went #1 and #2 overall and are inferior to the guy no one saw as a legitimate starter— Dak

Not arguing anything else he’s saying

but quinn is being paid 0 dollars by Philly this season. Zero!!! And he’s a free agent next year after Philly agreed to void the last two years of his deal. So they are paying him nothing. Not a penny.

Colin has since admitted he was wrong about Wentz. It's okay to be wrong, but some folks have a hard time admitting it. I see it here every day.

Yeah, but just as recently as this year, he was still trying to place Wentz above Dak. Colin does have bias when it comes to QBs who he has attached himself to and those he said years ago isn't a good or NFL caliber QB.

You’ve already given him 3 signing bonuses due to restructures. You can fix 2023, sure, it’ll drop to 24m$ cap hit, but now you’ve ballooned 2024 to 58m$.

Now Dak will also be a 28m$ cap hit in 2025, an 11m$ cap hit in 2026, a 6m$ cap hit in 2027… and he’s not even under contract in any of those years. So when you inevitably extend him, you’ll have to pay him his new contract while still taking massive cap hits for his old one.

This is how you got in trouble with Romo’s contract, being one of the biggest cap hits on the team despite retiring 2 years prior. The bill always comes due
