Twitter: Colin on Dak: "There's a big difference between deserve and earn”

Collin’s arguments are wildly bad.

That said, it’s gotta be a hard job to fill airspace by yourself. What he does is still super impressive.

I'm shaking my head at people who won't watch a 5 minute clip because they can't handle different opinions, yet draw conclusions about it anyway. :muttley:
Truth hurts and some folks can't handle coming to grips with it.......

Life like our cap won't give you the cake and ice cream......We have a 49 million problem.

You’ve already given him 3 signing bonuses due to restructures. You can fix 2023, sure, it’ll drop to 24m$ cap hit, but now you’ve ballooned 2024 to 58m$.

Now Dak will also be a 28m$ cap hit in 2025, an 11m$ cap hit in 2026, a 6m$ cap hit in 2027… and he’s not even under contract in any of those years. So when you inevitably extend him, you’ll have to pay him his new contract while still taking massive cap hits for his old one.

This is how you got in trouble with Romo’s contract, being one of the biggest cap hits on then team despite retiring 2 years prior. The bill always comes due

The bill always comes due in some way, shape or form, for everyone. People can react to this any way they choose. Personally, I’m not going to waste time stressing over possible negatives in the possible future of my favorite football team. They make their share of bad moves. Good moves too. That’s life.

Right we are 6-2 after 5 games with a backup QB, if next years cap is your biggest worry maybe try living in the moment as tomorrow is never guaranteed.

It’s not Dak. It’s the market. Teams will be forced to overpay guys like Dak, Wentz etc. just in hopes you’re not Carolina,Cleveland etc desperately trying to find average
Teams will be forced to overpay for those guys you mention on second contracts or draft a QB and ride their team friendly contract.

You want a starting QB you pay the market price. If you think you can get better than go do it.

Cowherd is another Dak Troll . I’d place him not far under Stephen A. Simply inciting responses.

If you look and sound like a duck. Quack quack. Lol

The problem with that is kicking the can down the road.

I don't think they do it again. That's why I think they are saving this cap space. To roll over to pay Dak's cap hit, or at least most of it.

They already pushed something like 25m forward in restructures. I order to be where he is now they'd have to push 30m more forward. Yet people still think his cap hit will be nowhere near 49m.

Needless to say, I highly doubt they push upwards of 55m of Dak's money forward. That would absurd.

Josh Allen's career stats:

3-3 Playoff Record
62.7% Completion
65.67% Win Percentage
7.2 Yards Per Attempt
92.7 Passer Rating

He's worse than both in Yards Per Attempt, Passer Rating, Completion Percentage, and worse than Jimmy in all categories. I guess he's worse than both according to Colin's own metric.

I get his main point, but this is where he went wrong. You don't compare quarterbacks like you do pitchers in major league baseball. Too many variables affecting the outcome for a quarterback.

Cowherd nailed it! All these fools keep saying the salary cap is going up and soon he won't be even top 5 in salary. We'll 49 mil a year for Dak is a complete joke. Can't afford to sign any FAs. Oh well! Another dumb front office signing.
This dumb front office keeps you coming back, and they don't even have to pay you lol

Oh I agree.

But the cap is always escalating and they can always add another year or two if needed at the end of the contract.

The team is down to probably 2-3 bad contracts left. Zeke will be gone and leaves just Daks bad contract left.
Jerry may extend zeke again lol, for even more $!
He will extend dak too, neither one is going anywhere lol.

I think pollard is the one leaving.
