Well, you get what you deserve.

I wish all my Cowboy friends would come listen to my blues band and pay me some green backs, some frogs...instead, all I have to do is buy drinks for you guys and gals to come listen to us. I'm hurting poor...loving it.

I'm not a QB, Dak is. I'm a guitar player.

Yeah, but just as recently as this year, he was still trying to place Wentz above Dak. Colin does have bias when it comes to QBs who he has attached himself to and those he said years ago isn't a good or NFL caliber QB.
Yup. Same as everyone.

Collin’s arguments are wildly bad.

That said, it’s gotta be a hard job to fill airspace by yourself. What he does is still super impressive.
Saw a behind the scenes clip and every morning he has a team of 8-10 people that give him ideas/agenda topics before the show and he has final approval on what to talk about.

You’ve already given him 3 signing bonuses due to restructures. You can fix 2023, sure, it’ll drop to 24m$ cap hit, but now you’ve ballooned 2024 to 58m$.

Now Dak will also be a 28m$ cap hit in 2025, an 11m$ cap hit in 2026, a 6m$ cap hit in 2027… and he’s not even under contract in any of those years. So when you inevitably extend him, you’ll have to pay him his new contract while still taking massive cap hits for his old one.

This is how you got in trouble with Romo’s contract, being one of the biggest cap hits on the team despite retiring 2 years prior. The bill always comes due
Worry about your Eagles. Hurts is scheduled to get overpaid next year since it's the last year of his rookie contract. Hurts QB market value right now is scheduled at $43.8 mil/season. Since your Eagles are undefeated and pretty much a lock to be in the playoffs this year, Hurts' value is only going to go up even higher.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/philade... Contract,average annual salary of $1,506,293.

Good luck maintaining a playoff caliber team next year and going forward.

Colin has since admitted he was wrong about Wentz. It's okay to be wrong, but some folks have a hard time admitting it. I see it here every day.
I wanted Henson over Romo.

A player has to earn a championship?

BS!!!

Go ahead, convince me guys like Fouts, Marino and even Archie Manning didn't earn a championship several times during their career.

Football is a team sport and in the NFL it involves more than talented players. It is a collaboration involving a GM, coaching staff, scouting development and several other individuals not on the field.

Who gets to determine whether an individual player has "earned" a championship, Colin?

I think not.

Franchises earn championships, not quarterbacks, not individual players.

Cowherd obviously doesn’t spend any time on this board because the fans here don’t want to pay anyone. There’s already been a couple of fans suggest trading Parsons and see what we can get because he’s going to break the bank when his rookie contract is up. Lol

Every week he’s either quoting cowturd or skippy . Makes sense how he gets his takes
I'm sorry I'll start quoting Clarence and Mr. Ruiz or how about that crazy guy who screams and needs a prescription for Xanax?
This would make you happy ehhhh?
Truth hurts you .....good seems Colin and millions of others are correct about Mr. Prescott!

Kind of what I figured. On small productions like that, the guy or gal in front of the mic usually has a lot of creative control.

Probably instrumental in hiring those people.

Seems like a pretty hard, but fun job.

Josh Allen's career stats:

3-3 Playoff Record
62.7% Completion
65.67% Win Percentage
7.2 Yards Per Attempt
92.7 Passer Rating

He's worse than both in Yards Per Attempt, Passer Rating, Completion Percentage, and worse than Jimmy in all categories. I guess he's worse than both according to Colin's own metric.

That’s false! 106 rating, 14 td and 1 int-65% completion-7.5 yards per attempt!

Cowherd killed his own argument like 15 seconds after saying it.

"Why do you want Dak to get paid"

"Jerry overpaid because he waited too long"

We wanted Dak to get paid sooner so that number wouldn't be so high. He mentions Garroppollo's cap hit not remembering he was the highest paid player in the league when he signed after getting traded there. Does Cowherd even follow the league really? From what I can gather online he says Aaron Rodgers is overpaid but advocates for Lamar Jackson getting paid.
