Colin. The receivers are not the issue

Nearly every qb in the league is going to have losing records against playoff teams. Last year playoff teams were a combined 136-56. That about a 71% winning percentage. Nearly impossible to post a winning record against that group unless you are dropping 13+win seasons.

Let's be clear here though
Colin says that we don't know yet if these stats can be applied to Dak or Garrett.
This was his point.
He said we'll know in December.

I think we can also look at Daniel Jones' progression and get some answers as well. But that's a side note. Can't compare because they don't have remotely near the line of WRs that we have...but it'll be interesting.

While stats can be indicators, those are only partial stats. He did not do well against the better competition but how well did the rest of the team perform? I could buy that if the D was consistent and the ST were just average but within those games last year, there were others involved.

I do agree with the advantage of tagging him and having a year to see him under this coaching staff and new offense. Because I agree with those that have reservations that he is the future and I want to see more.

I think this is especially difficult for those of us that watched him his last two seasons at Miss St. because I still see similarities between then and now with his play. I would see plays and think 'that's why he didn't beat the other guy out'.

What isn't fair is the degree these talking heads go to in the attempt to throw shade on him when they don't do the same thing with other QB's.

It's not just that..

Dak doesn't perform well in those games.

The QB has to elevate the team at some point. Especially when they get paid like they are elite.

Dak gets elevated by those around him. That is the conundrum.

Is he wrong, though? I'm not saying he is or isn't, but I think it's a legitimate question.
He's a Dak hater like a few around here. I think he's wrong. I know a little football and I like what I see. He was also 13-3 one season, with less talent. Moore put in a new and wide open offense and we had a HC that stuck his head in the sand. MM won't do that.

I think all the players on this team suck but I sure do love the Cowboys!!!!

Do not @ me when they beat Burrow? Well, the NFL had Burrow ranked higher than Dak........
