Colin: Welcome Dak to the real NFL

I heard this segment. It came right after Cowherd made at least a half dozen excuses for why Brady losing track on downs didn't matter. 'It was a short week', 'It's gonna happen', 'They had 11 penalties'.

Cowherd then segued into the above piece about Dak. If Dak would have lost track of downs in that situation he would have roasted him endlessly.

Part of the reason why people give Tom a pass is because, well, he has 6 rings...

Dak has yet to achieve anything in the NFL AND he's asking for $40m. Of course they should be strict on him.

Definitely some holes now.

Let's not go overboard on the offensive end though.
We still may have the best 3 WR + RB combo in Dallas Cowboys history. The weapons are preposterous.
I bet by years end when all is said and done, the Oline will end up ranking in that 15-25 range, as will....gasp, the defense

I think that's what many of us have been saying. Dak needs talent around him to get to the next level. And while that may be true for other quarterbacks, there are some quarterbacks who elevate an average team to a Super Bowl team. There are others who need all the pieces around them to be high-level talent in order to take the next jump.
Dak is the latter. No shame in that. It is what it is.

Shut the hell up, put your money where your mouth is, I’ll bet $400 that Dak has Dalls with a winning record and division champs.

He is 100% correct and anyone disagreeing is a Cowboy homer..

A good hard truth that people need to understand.

He’s not worth the money and a lot of the high paid guys aren’t worth the money..

What we have to decide right now is to lock down being mediocre and just be Dak fans or if we want to rip this thing apart and be back in a couple years.

Brady has proven himself.

To be fair, what QB have you seen have success with an historically bad defense?

That's assuming we can find a QB who can do better than Dak has done. Say what you want, that's a tall order.
