College Football playoff thread

Iowa State was just devoid of offensive talent.
Clemson is mostly in the same boat thus the 20-13 win.
But Clemson has been an uber elite and can continue to dominate the ACC then walk into the CFP so long as they get transfers in for that offense.
They need a QB and some WRs.
But there are about 5 QBs in the portal who would immediately boost them.
I am surprised they didn't get Rattler.

That Clemson QB is just so disappointing.
I get that not every program can have Watson and Lawrence basically back-to-back (other than maybe OU)
But even last night, I was just thinking "what happened to this guy?"

I’m going with Michigan vs Bama in the championship

Michigan will be hard-pressed to run the ball against that Georgia defense.
And if they can't do that it will likely be an ugly slugfest where Georgia's speed makes the difference.

But I'll be pulling for them as the underdog.

yea rankings are nice and all but a lot of 5-star kids fail in various systems or just in general.
you gotta be willing to move on.

Not expecting a high scoring game, so they should be able to stick with the run and eventually break some. This Michigan team looks different from the recent ones.

Bama is BY FAR the most overrated team in the country.
I watched them play Arkansas, Auburn and TAMU.
That QB and WR was duds in those games for 3 quarters.
Went up tempo a bit and got going.
Bama has a ton of talent but they are not nearly as good on defense as they have been and the offenses is super inconsistent.

Cincy has arguably the best DB group in college football.
This should be fairly low scoring through 3 quarters but I think Cincy wins it.

Cinci looks outclassed.

Cinci may have a top backfield but their D line and LBs are getting worked. Alabama's O line has really come on strong the last month.

Alabama is nowhere near what they were last year but this year the other teams are not as good either so they have a good shot at winning another championship. Crappy but there it is.

yes i think it is bama + georgia and every one else is a mile behind them with clemson + ohio state being down this year.

now watch cincinnati come back and michigan beat georgia

None. Bama is basically the Cowboys before the salary cap. Not good for football if they win every year. I'm already sick of them.

The games were pretty terrible. Neither one was a contest. Cincy and Michigan may as well have stayed home.
