College Football Week 11

Wow. Back to back years where Boise has their chance at an undefeated season go out the window because of a kicker.

They were gifted a first down and basically just squatted.

Their defense was atrocious all day.

That's what they get! They had the chance to be aggressive and go for the TD, plenty of time left on the clock. You cannot put that in the hands of your kicker. Put the ball in the hands of the best QB in team history and live/die with that

Stanford and OK ST. Being undefeated is still pretty messy

I think Stanford is going to lose tonight.

Which sucks. I was hoping for a BCS cluster**** this year.

So no team should ever set up a game-winning FG?

Interesting strategy.

I do, too. No way are they the fourth best team in the country.

Of course, Oregon may not really be that great, either.

And if they win they can get a patsy line ucla in the PAC 12 chaMpionship game .(USC is ineligible )

The cowboys just beat tech by 70, the team Oklahoma lost to.

Right down the middle in OT from both these kickers. Too bad Boise :lmao2:

You have Kellen Moore or a kicker that's attempted 3 FGs all year kicking in a tough stadium to make kicks. I'd at least give my record-setting QB a few chances to win with 2 timeouts instead of playing conservative and letting it rest on the kicker

Playing conservative?

They came out throwing, probably to a stupid extent. 3 of their 4 first plays on that last drive were passes of like 25+ yards. 1 drew a penalty, 2 were incomplete and the last play was basically a throw away.

Considering they were handed a first down and really didn't do anything to deserve to be where they were at on the field, they played it the way they should have. They set up a 37 yard FG, one that many kickers should have no problem with. The conditions weren't making that some sort of challenging kick. The played it right and the guy missed. Maybe this offseason Boise will try to recruit a kicker.

Another choke by Texas A&M man never seen a team blow that many 2nd half or 4thqtr leads.

They are going to end up with another losing record and the worse part is they have talent.

Is Sherman really going to survive this year and if they do not improve they are not going to be like 1 and a lot of loses in the sec

Boise loses. :)

I doubt it ends well for my Warriors tonight, though.

I really wanted Boise State to pressure the BCS. ...well, except tonight. :laugh2:

If TCU lost tonight, I wanted Boise State to throw another monkey wrench in the BS BCS.

It's a awesome win and a terrible loss.

I think he survives because TAMU might not want to join the SEC with a brand new coaching staff. They were able to compete with and nearly beat Arkansas the last two years with Arkansas being the 3rd best team in the SEC, it isn't like they are grossly outmatched against those teams. I want to see someone besides Sherman managing the offense because he is constantly putting the team in bad positions with his play calling.

As I said they have more talent than they have had in a long time but they just can not get out of their own way. They should not be a .500 team

They should be a 1-loss team (not gonna beat OU in Norman) but you are right, they cannot get out of their own way. Sadly, they mirror the Cowboys with being unable to finish games after taking a 2 score lead in the second half. They mirror the Cowboys in a lot of ways, and none of them are good.
