Indeed. There's probably 15 RBs and CBs alone that could carry 1st round grades. Obviously they won't all be drafted in the 1st, but this is a good year to have a #22 and #28.

I also think in 3 or 4 years people are going to be a little shocked about the QB's in this class as well.

Im not expecting anyone to be a Superstar outside of Ryan and Brohm in the right situation, but I can see a lot of these guys being very solid Pros in a league where Solid QB's are Top 10 QB's.

Nice job Theo, I started doing the same exact thing this morning actually. Just so you know, the stats are up for Aqib Talib.
Thanks. Yeah, now I see that they had them in the snapshot section, but not in the 2007 season section.

I like Chevis Jackson for a mid round selection. It looks like he put up some good stats and he looked good in Senior Bowl practices, but he may just be too physical for the NFL.

It is truly amazing how well these CBs compare with previous classes.

These numbers are off the charts at virtually every drill. Lots of 4.3's, 38" verticals??? sheesh!

I think the new field on the INDY stadium may have something to do with it.

that's because everyone and their mother knows he's a very good CB
But of course some folks are rating him as the #8 corner in this draft. Seems silly to me.

By the way, Chevis Jackson's numbers are even more impressive considering the level of competition he played against (Ainge, Tebow, Woodson, etc). Would be a great middle round pickup as a long-term #3 corner.

Thanks theogt. Cason was such a stud this year. I said I think he's better than Chris McAllister and I really stand by that.

I really like Jonathan Wilhite, everything I've read about him sounds positive, and today he ran a 4.38 40, he too played against top competition

If Mike Jenkins is there @ 22 and DRC is gone is there any way we can pass?

If EITHER of those 2 make it to #18 I'd TRADE UP!
If Jenkins or DRC make it out of the top 15 I'd be shocked, I am really praying Mayocks projection of Flowers was right, but not after his slow 40 time, I was really hoping he was the 1st C.B. taken cause that would mean one of the other 4 would definately fall to us!!

Hasn't Jenkins been getting trained by some professionals over the past couple of years as well?

I honestly think he is the Top Corner in this draft with Cromartie having more upside.

I know almost nothing about McKlevin but scouts love him.

McKelvin may be the most overrated player in the draft at this point. I think he's a late 1st/ early 2nd round talent. Maybe even lower.

why do you say that? he had a great Senior Bowl week, runs fast enough

I think the fact that many people rate him higher than your boy Cason has alot to do w/ it, you like to tear down players to pimp your own

I don't see anything about him that says he should be a top 20 pick. He wasn't that dominant in college even at Troy. And his Combine numbers are pretty good, but they're not eye-popping. Like I said, I think he's a good prospect, but he's #1 or #2 on most people's lists and I just don't see anything that would merit that. You can say "he had a good Senior Bowl" but DRC has a much better performance. And if Cason and Jenkins were there, they'd have likely outshined him too.

I'm not tearing him down. I just don't see anything that warrants him being the #1 or #2 corner. He's very good. I'd love to draft him. But I think people just follow everything that Mike Mayock says.

Agree with theo and masomenos. IMO McKelvin was seen as the best corner of a mediocre lot. With all these guys exceeding expectations, I think that pushes him down some. I can't see why anyone would put him above the much bigger DRC, just to name one.

no he wasn't, Mike Jenkins seemed to be the consensus #1 before the Combine
