Dont bother watching the College World Series if your team/Alma Mater aint participating, ITS BORING. i know im not watching it cause my team aint in it.

Rant zone?

Otherwise, why start a thread I tiredly related to a personnel preference.

I don't like how hard it us to score runs at the new stadium, but the games in general have nail biters if you're a baseball fan. My team didn't make but I'll still tune is occasionally...as a sports and baseball fan.

Here's something for you to watch then

I'm absolutely amazed my Horns have made it this far, they can't hit for crap and lost their best pitcher before regionals.

Because soccer is so exciting? I have thoroughly enjoy the college world series, other than a terrible way to lose a game for Sam Houston in the regionals. It's been good baseball. I don't go around complaining about sports I don't like.

They had a great run...and very nearly made it to the final series.

nothing good about the college world series. it takes places in a minor league stadium in a city with no major pro team(they once had the NBA kings). its still not a big college event like final four or college bowl games. as for soccer. its more than exciting this year is world cup time, the greatest time every 4 years(non-election even numbered years). it should be treated the same as the Olympics and Super Bowl. as a matter of fact, it should be treated like a major holiday. if only there was a "Soccer Claus" or a "Goal Fairy" the US is on the verge of going to the knockout stage if they at least tie germany. we cant afford to waste our time on teams not from our region playing a boring boring college game. the US soccer team is more important during this time of year.

A big chunck of the US team wasn't even born in the states, and a bunch more play/live in Europe.

College World Series -

Minor league stadiums, metal bats, 3 game series (***?)

They need to go to wood bats in college and make the CWS at LEAST a 5 game series.

And that's great, I'm pulling for the US even though I find soccer to be the most boring sport. To each their own. But I'm not creating threads about how boring soccer is or posting in the World Cup thread. Get a grip man. If you don't enjoy baseball, here's a clue, don't watch it.
