I guess today is "Trash Romo Day" on The Herd. Back to talking about the way he dresses. Tony is not an illusion. The illusion has been winning games for this team for 3 years. The illusion has broken all kind of passing records since he's been the starter.

He threw one past high yesterday now suddenly healways throws high, is inaccurate and has the worst mechanics in football? Don't eat the cheese. A couple bad games does not redefine a player.

He threw many passes high yesterday. As he has all season, high, low, behind his WR's all year. Except the Carolina game, he was on time a little more.

One pass high?? What were you watching? I saw him lead RW and nearly get him killed (which if I were RW I would have had some choice words after that ball), another high one to Austin I think in the middle, and one high ball to RW that he was able to bring down. There were lots of them yesterday. We were all wondering what was up with his throws, they were generally high and pretty inaccurate.

People are too caught up with their players

San Diego and Dallas are similar, talent but no leadership

Wade Phillips and Norv Turner have failed several places but they were hired by people who knew they could control them

If Bill Cowher or Shannahan took over the Cowboys, it is a 12-4 team

it's silly but Tony has become everything TUNA warned us against. Plus cowboy fans don't like change or QBs (field generals) that look live joe average.

I believe we are close in some way....

The way i see the NFL today every 8-8 / 6-10 team is close. That means they are able to have close games with good teams but most of the time will lose. Like we do right now.

Being close means we can force close games. It doesn't mean we are close to being a good football team. IMO the sad part is it will be alot of work for us to being a good team again.

The only thing I will agree with Cowherd is Tony sitting on the bench. When he is having a bad game the camera always finds him slumping on the bench. A lot of the time he is alone. Of course I'm not on the sideline but I can not imagine it inspires the team.

My girlfriend was watching this game with me, and has watched enough other games as well, to notice this too. She noted that, when the cowboys start losing, Romo always seems to have a pathetic smirk, seated on the bench.

The only pass I considered high was the RW pass that almost got him killed. Leading is not high. Throws behind is not high. One-hopper is not high. Anyway, it's symantics. Romo played bad.

I was just commenting on Cowherd saying he always throws high. The key word is always. I said 1 focusing on the RW pass. I guess specifics fall short in here sometimes.
