Leary has been solid for us the last two/three years, but he looks close to done. Collins is the future and as of now the better player.

Not sure what happened to Leary but right now I would declare the starting LOG position open for the Giant game.

He's still injured. Martin and free are too. We need to replace him Collins ASAP. A 100% Collins is better than a 70% Leary.

I think the Collins era starts after the bye.

I'm hoping the switch to CMike or at least him being a MUCH larger part of the RBBC happens as well.

And the obvious switch to Cassel.

I'm a Leary fan but he looked bad past two games for whatever reason. They need to do something about it.

Leary looked pretty bad out there as the Pat exploited him.

3 weeks late to the party....this has been discussed to the point of puking. He's been beyond horrific this year.....But he still starts because our coaching staff believe in "continuity"....even if the product on the field is crap.

Our line is looking like the Raiders line of last year.....Coincidence? Leary has been awful...but other has been breaking down as well. But Leary is by far the worst offender.

I was just about to make this thread. He does not look healthy/right at all. Last season they routinely shifted protection to help Free and left Leary in space, almost like an OT. He did well with power rushers and only had marginal struggles with speed. This season he's been awful. Getting put on skates AND losing to speed. That throws the whole line out of whack. Now Free can't get the help without exposing Leary.

If he's injured, he needs to sit until healthy. He's had back problems and a groin problem so he's hurting in both Power/Speed rusher plays. I can't help but think he's rushing back because he knows the rookie is on his tail, but being honest Collins right now is not better than Leary last year. I would rather he get right, show them he's better right now and get the job back than trot out injured, cost us plays and probably lose the job anyways.

Absolutely, I thought this same thing. Collins can't do worse than what we're getting from Leary, and he only stands to get better with playing time.

Leary is not playing well. The oline as a whole just is not getting it done. I thought Collins looked good game he started.

Leary has a bum knee and feels that bottom coming up at him. He's done.

Have fun in the CFL.

It takes a miracle to get any new/deserving players to break Garrett's line-up. Lets see.......we finally see what Dunbar could do after a few years. We are still waiting on Escobar and Hanna. A plethora of WR's rarely get a chance, just a play here and there.

We are still waiting for Michael to get a whopping two carries in a game.

Collins was essentially a FA and chose to come here. He should have started from day one and I would not bet on that changing next week unless there is an injury.

Collins had his moments as well where he was overpowered this season. He might be the better player but if he is it isn't by much.

Leary rushed his return and the FO and staff knowingly allowed it to happen. They deserved what they got. Gotta feel badly for the fans, though. Being subjected to watching that sort of failure isn't a pretty thing to see.
