generally i agree but Leary was really struggling and after his injury teams were actively killing him with speed, that change was 2 game overdue.

He was a good starter last year for us. Not sure what happened with Leary. Maybe it should've happened sooner......

I advocated plugging him in right away this year. Leary's stock was high preseason due to the rep of the OL. We could have traded him for a good draft pick. Now he is injured, inactive and could fetch a 7th at best

Or Leary could get healthy, play like last season, and Collins can move to RT to make this the best OL in football again.

that would a good idea but the caoches never even practiced Collins at RT even though he played LT in college.Free has been abysmal this year and he is going to get replaced one way or another next year.

Yup, and I've never understood why - especially given how well Leary played last year and the fact Free was coming off an injury. I'd love to hear the answer but I haven't seen it so far.

I think I'm going to watch Collins on offensive plays. He looks more exciting than this boring, predictable offense.

It took an injury and terrible LG play to force him into the starting lineup. We just cannot escape from the terrible decisions Garrett makes to hinder our team.

He also made several mistakes in the 2 games he played when Leary was out. It was obvious that he had terrific physical ability but it was unclear how well he was progressing on the mental side. He got the 2 games and then 3 weeks off to probably review his own play and figure out the things he didn't quite understand. Now he appears to have the mental side down fairly well.

Oh my god, I'm surprised they came back on the field.
