Columbo was STARTING as a rookie. he was playing well- not great but well before his injury. which is pretty much all you can expect from a rookie on the O line. Players like McNeill are very rare. you notice that Ferguson- the can't miss guy- played well but not great in his rookie year.

No one else played RT, only Columbo.

Yes, I know that.

And I also know that he was our best OL at ANY position last year. We need him back because there is no one better available at any price in FA. Since he was our best OL last year, and he was (according to you) only "average", then all the others were less than average. We need more average or above players this year. If we had more Colombo's we would be much improved over what we were last season (or, upgraded). We need Colombo back, period.
