Colombo that good?

He seemed to hold his own last year, but I don't think he would yet be considered a top tier tackle... Is it possible we are looking for an upgrade there? Plug in Bigg at RG and get a tackle and we are set. Not sure who is available, and Colombo may be one of the best options out there... I just don't recall him being spectacular by any means.
Can't all these Colombo posts be consolidated!!!

Good thought on Ricky Ray, by the way. 2008 is the year.

No...and please don't try to dictate how this board is run. This messageboard was here before you decided to join and will still prosper when you've had your fun. If you like Prophet's thread so much, then limit your posts to that thread.

The rest of you need to do your best and stick to football and stop getting sucked into the nonsense.

Man if we get him resigned then I will be really excited about our offensive line next season.
Agreed but I'd still love to address OL in the Draft too, so we're set for the future.

He was out of football for 2 years and when he came back the Bears released him. Dallas gave him a chance to prove himself and what does he do?

He goes out to see if he can get more money!!! :bang2: How greatful is that? If it were not for Dallas he would not even be in the situation to go for a new contract. He should sign a 1 year deal with the boys, prove his worth and work on a long term deal once he proves his worth.

Instead what he is worried about is that he is injury prone. He is looking for a long term deal with a protection against his knee going and being out of the game. Sure go ahead and tell me that he has a right to get as much money as he can.

It still doesn't feel right to have zero loyality to the team that pulled you off the scrap heap!

Loyalty<<<Livelihood

Put it this way... if he is "injury prone" this could be his last contract ever. Hard to say if you were in the same position you wouldn't be looking for as much money as you could get.

I seriously doubt the Cowboys blame him at all. This is his one and only chance for a contract like this because of those injuries. If he was a member of your family you'd be all in favor of him getting the best deal he could.

Loyalty!?! There's no loyalty in the NFL. Go ask Joe Horn, or Joey Porter.
