Taco didn't play in that game either. He was out with an ankle injury. Definitely remember Awuzie from that game. He was very impressive.

If you want to see Taco at his best, watch the Ohio St. game. He dominated that game.

I will say as a Michigan alum and diehard Cowboys fan, it's nice to see us finally draft some Michigan players. It's been since 1991 so I was wondering if it would ever happen.

I think we're all going to be very happy with the Jourdan Lewis pick too. He was a heck of a player at Michigan who was overshadowed somewhat by Peppers but he was revered by those associated with the program.

I thought taco was better vs Fsu than OSU..I was at the orange bowl...Taco was unblockable

Yeah I was at that game too. You are correct. He was great that day too. Definitely his best two games at Michigan were FSU and OSU. I'm partial to the Ohio St. game because the stakes were so high that day and he was arguably the best player on the field.

The more tape i watch of lewis and awuzie the less i like them. They just are not physical players.

The more i watch of taco, i actually like more.

I dont understand why they do not like big physically imposing corner...

What tape are you watching? Lewis is arguably the best pure cover corner in the draft and Cheeto was the best tackler.....

Because being able to actually cover is more important than big physically imposing? And Awuzie is pretty much 6' 200 lbs, how much bigger do you want?? You want a bunch of Cam Chamcelor's trying to Chaco WR's around? Physically imposing isn't anywhere near the top of the checklist when looking for a CB.

For Lewis i was watching the fsu michigan game. Lewis basically got run over by Cook on multiple occasions, Cook is a good rb, but man did he make Lewis look bad when he tried to tackle him.

Chidobe did not look great wrapping up and sticking his nose into the pile in the Colorado Michigan game.

I saw a few other games and i came away less than impressed

You guys are totally right covering the receiver is obviously the most important part of playing corner, but i think the best corners in the NFL are physical tackling corners who can cover.

Lewis and Chidobe are just not as physical as i would like.

The Cowboys place a huge premium on how physically dominating their oline and backs are.

The same physically dominating characteristics that they value on offense seems to be an afterthought on defense and it bothers me.

I could be wrong maybe Chidobe is the best tackling corner, but the tape i watched did not suggest that.

I hope I am wrong and they turn out to be way better than I ever thought.

Cook made a lot of good players look bad last year.
