maybe for stats. but when it comes to winning Brady>Manning
What if he wins the SB this season with relatively no running game, and musical chairs O-line, and a hasbeen Marvin Harrison to go with a very inconsistent deefense?

That would be a much bigger feat than any championship run Brady ever had IMO.

I will take Emmitt over the commentating of Daryl Johnston though. I liked him as a player, but his voice just annoys me. He sounds like he should be commentating on nuclear fission.

Brady never had the weapons he had until last year where he broke Peytons td record. Brady has won more with less on offense.

gee, Colts DB draped all over Chargers WR...no call

Chargers DB barely touches Colts WR way down field, has no impact on play...call PI

Brady always had a good running game and a dominant defense. Brady's great, but last I checked, individuals dont win games and he didnt carry any of those Pats teams on his back. He was one of many contributers.

And for the record, it took him 81 more pass attempts to throw a single touchdown more than Manning did. If Peyton wanted to, he could've really seperated himself by staying in the 4th quarter in blowouts like Brady did, but Dungy doesnt operate that way. Never mind the fact, he left the field after one possession against Denver the last week of the season and threw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs against em the next week, so you're basically comparing 16 games to 15.

and Peytons defense was a big reason he won a superbowl. the year he won he threw 2 or 3 picks against kc than 3 more to baltimore than 2 picks to NE(1 was returned for a td). he also threw atleast 1 pick in the superbowl. Peytons defense won him a ring. brady marched his team down the field twice in superbowls while trailing to kick game winning fgs

wonder if Gates had just run instead of trying to hold off the defender would he have gotten the TD.

1. I never claimed Peyton didnt have the D. My question was regarding if he won the SB this year given the circumstances that Brady never came close to facing during those SB runs.

2. Last I checked, he only threw one INT against NE(it was a pick 6) and he led the biggest comeback in Conference championship history in that same game by leading his offense to 32 second half points which is bigger than any game winning FGs, particularly the first one which was basically about the defense dominating an all time offense. Similar to last year with Eli being named MVP, when the defense was the story.

I still cant help but wonder what Romo and our offense would be like if Norv would have been hired here.

Norv is a great offensive coach.

I realize the SB is a bigger stage than an AFC Championship game, but when you talk about all time playoff performances, neither of Brady's performances in his first two SBs, especially the first one which he played very vanilla most of the way, will make the list while Peyton's AFCC performance will easily be in the top 3.

If you win, OK. If not, OK.
