I was wondering if he was going to survive the mess in Indy. I guess we have our answer.

Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement continues to hurt that team.

They simply could not provide him the OL unit and protection Luck needed in time .. He was beaten so badly he decided to retire, never a thought to un-retire.
and Colts organization could not supplant a long term QB - look at the past QBs they tried to pass thru since Luck retired.
- Brissett
- Rivers
- Wentz
- Matty Ryan
- Sam A.

and Irsay is not a patient owner and authority figure.

Good firing. GM is probably next. That team is done without a QB, they need to rebuild. If I'm the Chargers, if Payton is not interested then Reich would be a good candidate

His decision to bring in Wentz last led to this IMO. He went out on the limb and it backfired, real bad. Interesting how Phillip Rivers apparently made him look like a better HC than he actually was.

Exactly what I was saying

I kind of thought this would happen and was just a matter if Irsay rode the season out or just chucks it away now to test how the staff would do.

Probably not the worst idea to just tank this season to grab one of the better QB's available in April. Ehlinger seems more like a backup to me at best.
