he got a raw deal. Ownership made him take a new vet qb each year and its not his fault Jonathan Taylor has been hurt.

Not sure what I think about the Saturday hire. It might be good. Sucks that Irsay can't get Peyton to want to coach.

Mistakes on QBs ultimately did Frank Reich in. Carson Wentz didn’t pan out and neither has Matt Ryan. A head coaches success usually goes hand-in-hand with the success of their QB. If the QB fails usually the head coach fails.

I'm thinking highly qualified candidates no matter their race are currently on teams as cooridinators. An interim needs to be someone on staff or on the street.

Have they said who the offensive coordinator/playcaller will be?

Saturday is a nice guy, but his coaching experience is akin to asking that guy in your neighborhood who's plumbed a few basements in your neighborhood and done a couple Youtube tutorials on installing a toilet to take on all the plumbing for a 40 story office building.

And if he succeeds, it's either because the team just needed a new voice and/or his assistants are actually being heard and able to do their jobs without being under the thumb of Reich.

This is true C but wasting a time and resources his Wentz was on him 100%. Remember reading a tweet from one of their beat writers that GM and owner allowed him to make the call. Of course, they tried to clean it up by signing Ryan but that fail, bad. My guess is they are ready to use a top pick to draft one.

Either way, this is a classic example that teams will only go as far as the QB position will take them.
If he made that call he should have been fired lol
But a few years ago he was a genius in the NFL
A couple losing season makes a genius look really dumb lol
