Agreed - he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Having said that, Manning knows how to get rid of the ball.

Not with #94 on the other side of it

remember Big E back in the day. dude skipped training camp every year.

He sure did... but back in the day, before his accident... he was the best, nastiest, meanest, sob in the league...

The late, great Reggie White could tell you about Erik Williams. Williams routinely threw him around like a rag-doll every time we played them...

Another off season of working out and getting in better shape might be the ticket for our current ROT Colombo to start playing like that.

I agree... he was a first rounder with great potential that had an injury. We gave him a chance and his loyalty is evident. He has a really nasty attitude which I like in an OL...

I think he only gets better...

I agree he'll get better, but I don't think there's anyone on the roster that compares w/ Erik Williams. He was a special lineman.

One more reason why the Colts get replaced by the Patriots as the AFC bully this year. Ugoh better work his rear end off. That's an expensive blindside he'll be protecting.

Maybe Glenn didn't know he wanted to retire a couple of months ago. His mind set may have changed as the days went by. He was just a part of a team that won it all. He got to enjoy his off season and then started working out again. The grind started to hit him and he knew it felt different. Perhaps if they had not won he would not have retired. Just don't know. A lot can happen in a couple of months. Sucks for the Colts, but that is just the way it is. And maybe they did know. Maybe he told them that he wasn't sure if he wanted to come back and may not know for certain for a few months.

Willie Roaf made a similar decision, similarly timed, as I remember, last year, and Roaf looked in much better condition. Tarik Glenn probably tried Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers early summer, failed to reduce his obesity, and told the Colts he just couldn't make it. And I agree he probably warned them before the draft...giving up next year's 1st round pick for Ugoh reflects serious concern. Anyway, I hope Peyton spends the season running for his life. First priority is to see NO Colts repeat. 2nd priority is to see no Patriots in Glendale. 3rd priority is to see Chargers implode again. In Glendale, we want to be menacing someone like...Jay Cutler...we can do a job on him...

Being an NFL player is very tough at the offensive line. I think some people have to worry about life after football more than just football. Glenn is set for life, and has had a great career. If he wants to leave the NFL while he's still healthy more power to him.
