Columbus gets TCU "Little Sisters" billboards

It appears the Little Sisters that TCU plays every year have put up about twenty billboards (pictured below) all over Columbus Ohio to get back at Gorden Gee for his comments. I'm sure he will enjoy seeing them every morning on his way to work.

This is what it actually looks like since it's skewed in the pictures.

I see both sides. I understand your enthusiasm but honestly I would be very upset at Oklahoma for doing something like this or anyone doing something like this w/ regards to OU.

Isn't TCU going to the Big East soon? You will be loving life and praising the BCS when you get in a BCS game with 2 or 3 losses.

I'm guessing you either A. didn't make it to a bowl game or B lost in a bowl game. Wisconsin or Ohio State fan are we? Must be since you're so angry. TCU is the first team to OWN two teams with one win.

They can still get robbed. Cincinnati (Big East) was undefeated last year and did not get a shot at the National Championship game. TCU would not have played for the National Championship this season even if they were in the Big East because two of the more prominent AQ conference champs went undefeated. It is a shame because I personally think they would smoke Oregon and at least hang with Auburn. They need a playoff system.

Anyway this sign is beyond stupid. Ohio St. doesn't care about TCU. The Buckeyes have been there done that over and over again. Also Gee was talking about the teams on TCU, Boise St's schedule not TCU/Boise St. themselves. Lastly, Ohio St tried to schedule TCU for 2009 I believe(I posted the article not too long ago on this board) and TCU turned it down. Like another poster said act like you been there before instead of wanting to puff out your chest for winning one Rose Bowl game. If you want to be taken seriously do it again next year and the year after, 5 outta the next 10 years something like that.

Anyway this sign is beyond stupid. Ohio St. doesn't care about TCU. The Buckeyes have been there done that over and over again. Also Gee was talking about the teams on TCU, Boise St's schedule not TCU/Boise St. themselves. Lastly, Ohio St tried to schedule TCU for 2009 I believe(I posted the article not too long ago on this board) and TCU turned it down. Like another poster said act like you been there before instead of wanting to puff out your chest for winning one Rose Bowl game. If you want to be taken seriously do it again next year and the year after, 5 outta the next 10 years something like that.

The Big East sucks beyond belief and to think they are going to get in over a Big 12, Big 10, pac 10 SEC team because they go undefeated is nonsense. I agree the BCS is flawed but it's not because a team like TCU or Cincy don't get a shot at the title it's because the conference they are in are not good and therefore they aren't going to make it over a team that plays like 4 or 5 top 25 teams and a team like TCU may play one marginal top 25 team at best. If it comes down to TCU, Alabama, and Stanford, Stanford and Alabama are going to play for the title and they should play for the title. IF TCU really wants a shot at the title they should have joined the new Pac 10 or Big 12. Go undefeated in those conferences then you will have shown that you beat some of the better teams in the nation. Beating UConn, West Virginia, Cincy, and Pittsburgh shows nothing.

I never said Cincy was robbed. I even clarified that I used them as an example of how TCU will be treated. You seem to be deflecting by bringing it up again. TCU just beat the best team the Big10 had to offer, so they did show that they could beat one of the better teams in the Nation. They would also beat Oregon right now this season and certainly compete with Auburn. The fact that they are not getting that opportunity now or even if they had gone to the Big East is a shame.

Your post seems to indicate that TCU could just jump to one of the other conferences at any time. They have always been shut out of the Big 12 from the time the SWC was nuked and the Pac10 has never wanted them. The Big East is the only BCS conference that has offered an invite. Boise State is in the same boat except they have no realistic shot at a life preserver.

Gee wasn't saying TCU or Boise St couldn't beat a Big Ten team or a SEC team on any given day...sheesh.

It was about playing in those conferences day in and day out.

If any one thinks those two teams would play in either of those conferences and still go undefeated year after year...they are nuts.

And they can put up all the signs they want to get back at him...although I doubt he's losing any sleep over them.
