This is typical of the overreaction on most fan boards. Fans are still hung over from the Washington loss and are willing to paint the entire first half of the season with the same brush of disappointment.

Dallas hasn't shown "nothing"-- Dallas is top five ranked in offense and defense. That indicates talent. They lost for a myriad of reasons:

Jax- QB turnovers, DB's, and penalties
Philly- QB turnovers, DB's, bad snap
NYG- QB turnovers, DB's
Was- penalties, DB's

If you say Dallas has "cured" their turnover problem, then their two remaining problems have been their beating themselves with penalties and their DB's giving up big plays.

If you believe they will continue to beat themselves then yes, they may end up being average. But if this is a learning process-- which I believe it is, then they have a potential to be much better. If the only remaining weakness is giving up occasional big plays then I think the team has enough firepower to overcome this last weakness over the course of 8 remaining games and playoffs.

Throw in that we play five of eight at home and one of the away games is Arizona and you have a much rosier looking second half than first half.

There are six teams at 4-4; are you saying you believe all of them are going to end up 8-8? Rarely is the second half of a season the same as the first half.

Dallas usually trends down in the second half of seasons, but I have reason to believe that this is the year they trend up.

We are our own worst enemy. What is wrong is correctable. Now I don't expect to see everything that is wrong suddenly to be right but even we improve a few things we are capable of winning consistently.

Wow. This teams loses a fluke game against a division opponent and now it's not even good enough to beat the Cardinals. The ups and downs of some posters' opinions are absolutely amazing.

thats the problem...we shouldnt have lost the game...hell it probably shouldnt have even been close game, let along a loss

we came out flat and uninspired from the opening snap (again)...we lost to the same team that had lost to a very bad Titans team at home

if we play as sorry as we did Sunday at Washington, we'll probably lose in Arizona too...they are well rested and Leinart is a better passer with more weapons at WR than Brunell...with our total inability to rush the passer, we could be in for another frustrating day

Look... I hear ya... I really do.... but we know that the Commanders get their game up for us... so between that, homefield and our mistakes we muffed.... now we have to beat up on some scrub teams and get our "stuff" together

Don't be surprised if that happens. The mistakes are grammar school stuff and could/should go away quickly. IMO, when it happens, this group of guys are gonna be amazing.
