You failed, try again.

I forgot you're the coolest guy on this message board, Hostile. Who am I to argue with you? I mean really.

That's the saddest thing I've ever read in my entire life. Way sadder than Terms of Endearment. Maybe you could sell it to Lifetime Channel.

Your team was organized in 1933. Ours came 27 years later in 1960. That means that you have not won a title since our 1st year in the NFL. This is our 49th year. The 3 titles you did win were all a one and done proposition. The Super Bowl being a tournament style format is simply more impressive.

In your 75 years of History you have played in 34 post season games and have won 17 of them.

We have won 32 post season games in 56 games played. That means in 27 fewer years we have won 15 more games than you and played in 22 more games.

We have been in the same division as you (3 different divisions) since 1961. You have won 7 Division titles in that time. We won the NFL Capital Division all 3 years it was in existence. We have won the NFC East 16 times.

The all time head to head record between our teams is Dallas 52 wins to Philly 42 wins. You've swept the season series 10 times. We've swept it 16 times. You need to sweep the next 5 years just to pull even.

Stand in our shadow and shiver from the cold.

Just thought I'd rub a little salt in the wounds Hos inflicted.

I call BS on your three so called Championships.

In 1948 and 1949 when the Eagles won the NFL Championship, there was the AAFL. The Browns ruled this league and won the Championship just about every season.
Well the Browns did win the AAFL Championship in both 1948 and 1949. That league and the Browns joined the NFL in 1950.

The Browns also won the NFL Championship in 1950. So who's to say the Eagles were a better team or the legit Champion of Football. I think it's obvious that the Browns were better.

1960 when the Eagles won the NFL Championship, was also the first year of the AFL. The Oilers won the AFL title in 1960 and 61.

Who's to say the Eagles were a more legit champ than a team that went on to repeat.

The Eagles have never won an undisputed profootball championship. NOT ONE!:D

10:31 pmI have been dreaming for a while now about having Dawkins just simply rip T.O."s head off!! That would really make my day, something similar to what happened to Michael Irvin in Philly but with a devastating hit by someone from the Eagle defense, most prefrebly B-Dawk, ending his career and sending him out on one of those carts. We really need Buddy Ryan back, so he can put a bounty and that poor fools ***!!!

I was there when Michael Irvin went down for the last time. The whole stadium roared as if they just kicked a game-winning field goal in an NFC Championship game.Let's go.

Hos. You are my role-model. Your skilled, methodical, tactful ownage inspires me. Thank you.:bow::bow:

Cowboys 28, Eagles 10 (Yes, Browns style. Get ready.) :):):)

ummm - Stewart Bradley?

Keep mentioning how your big, bad Oline is gonna manhandle the Eagles little defense. Oh boy I cant wait 'til Dallas has the ball...

Oh, and by the way, as long as we're still talking about the 70's or the 90's: The Eagles have 3 NFL championships in their trophy case. 48-49, and 1960. Wow, your city is, like, clobbering us!

:lmao:

Philadelphia hasnt won a major sports title in 25 years

Dallas has won four in that time period

The Eagles have never won a Superbowl

The Cowboys have won 5

Why are we discussing this?

Being a Lakers fan, this is what we go thru on our board in regards to Kings fans. It's the "we coulda, shoulda, woulda if only" philosophy. It happens to teams that only dream of what being a champion must be like.

So how does that 48 years of futility feel?

Heck Philly as a whole hasn't won a flipping thing since the 81 Sixers but at least with them Dr. J was cool.

Flyers? Chokers
Phillies? Chokers
Eagles? Chokers

Heck even Iverson spit the bit when he got into the finals and got owned by the Spurs. Seriously, there must be something in the water over there. But hey you think keep patting yourself on the back over something you did a half century and I'll just keep on laughing at you.

Considering that an NBA official stated that game 6 of the 1999 WCF was fixed they do have a strong reason to be pissed. i remember watching that game and a game against the Timberwolves in the first round and I was able to tell by possession whether or not the whistle was going to get blown. It was like the refs wouldn't allow the Lakers to be up by less than 5.

Oh, and I am not a Kings or wolves fan. It was just such an obvious hack job.

Do you happen to be a Yankees fan too?

You know what is funny.... you have 32 posts in 4 years and one of them was to correct a spelling error :lmao:

(I left out ? for you) ;)

That was comical YoMick. But if you thought that was funny, you'll think this is hilarious ..."an ellipsis has three dots" not four!:D

Preface: I'm an Eagles fan not a Cowboys fan. There would be something very wrong with my agreeing with the flow of this thread. Keeping those things in mind, will help you understand my perspective easier.

Discussion: Obviously this thread isn't intended to carry any substance for Eagle fan to really give their true perspectives without being badgered by many. So, I think I'll take a slightly different approach.

Response:

To the topic "Come On Eagle Fans You Have No Chance" I say ...

- we shouldn't have a chance of beating the once all powerful America's team with 5 Superbowl championships

- how could a team with an empty trophy case possibly presume victory against a dynasty (ask anyone here) ...rhetorically speaking of course.

- it would be ridiculous to believe that a 100% healthy McNabb could pull off a victory against the Cowboys, even if the Eagles did beat you last year with an 80% healthy McNabb.

- It probably doesn't mean anything toward our chances of success against the Cowboys with a healthy LJ Smith, Westbrook, strengthened special teams, and younger wide-receiver corp (Basket and Avante; including a rookie by the name of DeShaun Jackson) ...no chance what-so-ever

- Let's not even mention a well improved (probably over-rated) Eagles defense.

So I get the gist (...or jest) of this thread ...but do you?! How could the thread starter realistically make a comment like ..."Come On Eagle Fans You Have No Chance?"

You better us when Romo got hurt and Gurode was also hurt I can't wait to see you guys this year. also 100% Romo > 100% McFAg

I don't care when it is during the season the Eagles have a recent history of coming into Texas Stadium and kicking our butts. So, yes, I take them very seriously.
