I've taken the liberty of highlighting the (potentially) new starters on a defense that finished middle of the road last year. A FS is enough to get us that #1 spot? This team has to learn a new defense. Sure, they'll sack the QB more, but that may nto result in a better ranking. A little unrealistic, IMO.

We have been ranked #1 in defense before. I think this defense has a ton of talent. So much money and draft picks have been spent on it. I think the pay off is about to come.

I ate the cheese last year. Got a stomache from it.

I do enjoy the possibilities as well.....we have a very versatile and athletic group....but let's not get too carried away. We didn't produce well enough last year.

If you had actually taken the time to read, I am not bashing Greg Ellis. While I don't condone him constantly speaking out, I understand why he is upset. And I've one of the people saying we need to keep him.

The most overrated, underachieving Cowboys stiff of all time...at least since Dat Dude...
Money? this guy thinks he's underpaid!? is he serious! He's been a complete let down for where he was drafted, and for his size and hype - he just simply isn't that good - truth be told, he's a backup football player. However he is an All - Pro whiner.

Lets release him and move on - Ellis is from the losing era, which he did little about to change.

ONe thing you're forgetting though...

Never in his career was he a "Good" or "Great" pass rusher. Now with the injury... he'll be lucky to be average.
