Bobby Carpenter
Mike Jenkins
Felix Jones
Kyle Kosier
Mat McBriar
Tony Romo
Junior Siavii
Anthony Spencer

Not sure how to make a poll, but who would you choose for CPOY?

The obvious choice is Romo, but I'm going to say Kyle Kosier. Our offensive line is dramatically different when he's in the lineup. Coming back from what we all thought was a serious foot injury was great, and he's been very consistent for us this year. What about you guys?

Romo was injured half the year and the team was a mess the second half.

I think Carpenter is average at best.

Spencer and Jenkins have blossomed into very good players, so I don't know about comeback but they are my pleasant surprises for the year!

"Comeback" player is sort of tough, because a lot has to do with playtime, people ahead of you on the depth chart, etc. Do you give it to the guy who was injured and had a good season this go around, someone who improved a lot?

If we're talking about most improved, it's got to be Mike Jenkins. Spencer was playing at a pretty decent clip when he got on the field last year...he just didn't get on the field last year.

Bobby and Junior have certainly emerged from general lousiness into averageness, which is certainly an improvement.

Suisham? Wasn't even on the team...lol.

Seriously, I'd say Kosier if you're saying "comeback" player. Most improved would be between Spencer and Jenkins.

I think it's Romo because he overcame a back injury along with the thumb issues to lead this team to a 11-5 record. (Yes I've already counted this Sunday's game as a win)

Kosier easily IMO. Romo is a consideration but I think Romo's success is directly linked to Kosier's come back. Earlier in the year, when Kosier went out and Proctor was playing, we were horrible. I would not consider Jenkins because comeback means just that. Jenkins is improving but he is not coming back to form. Same with Spencer IMO.

A guy that is not being mentioned but probably should be is Brookings. I would not say he is more deserving because he had a pretty good year in Atlanta last year but they still released him.

That was tough. I picked Spencer because he is probably the most improved player on the roster, but Kosier came back from a major injury and he is having another good year for us. McBriar gets honorable mention. Never take a good punter for granted.

yea, i can't go "comeback" from 1 year to the next. a 'comeback' to me is you were damn good, fell from grace, then had a "comeback" to greatness.

no one really applies here to me. if i were forced, carp is doing well but again, never did well to begin with.

spencer is finally getting his game going - not really a "comeback".

Mike Jenkins coming back from a inconsistent rookie season while battling injuries to playing like one of the best corners in the league

Mike Jenkins!

Jenkins had a shaky year in 08, in 2009 he's a PB corner in my mind.

I agree Ice. I think you could easily make the case that Jenkins is the most improved player but not the Comback. JMO

"Comeback" infers a guy missed all or most of the previous season IMO, so in that case it has to be Kosier. The other option would be Felix Jones.

If the intent was "most improved" player, I think thats Jenkins by a landslide. He's gone from a rookie who was up and down some to one of the better young CB's in football and a potential probowler.
