Comeback player of the year?

Who do you all think can be the comeback player of the year? I think last year's award probably goes to Doug Free.

E) Gavin Escobar
F) Lance Dunbar

I will take Carr. Hopefully the defensive line shows up this year to help him.

I think Carter is a smart choice. Big time physical talent and showed he can excel in 2012. Carter flying around with confidence would make a world of a difference.

Not really worried about Melton. If healthy, he will be fine.

Carter is the guy the defense needs to bounce back. The talent is there

Maybe the fact that he is fighting for his job and in a contract year, will be enough to get his full potential.

The reality is that he is going to find a hard time getting paid next year on another team if he rides the bench all year... Potential that Rob Ryan would sign him, but even then, he still wouldn't get paid anywhere close to Sean Lee money.

I agree but I always consider not just the heart but the brain. If you are confused and the brain doesn't put you in position then all the physical ability and heart doesn't do much. And further, we don't need any Dorothy's or Scarecrow or Tinmen linebackers this season.

I'll give it to Matt Johnson if he makes it through a preseason game.

But my serious answer is Henry Melton. I think he'll be fine by the summer, and will wreak havoc with Marinelli knowing how to use him best.

I am pretty confident carter will have a good year because it is his contract year. I just hope we are not fooled by it and give him a long term deal
