With whats gone down, i think Chaisson is off the 17 pick, or could be he was never there.

Dallas has 2 needs right now and thats WR and CB. But the good thing about this is its for depth, they dont really need a starter at each position. They would be fine going in with what they got.

Do you add another weapon if one of the top 3 WRs are there? All three would make this offense scary. How do you cover Elliot, Cooper, Gallup, and One of the top 3 WRs, then cover the seam with Jarwin?

Do you add a CB who is big has very good cover skills and is a ballhawk, but plays a little too soft for NFL standards that already put CBs behind with the rules.

Or do you draft Love for leverage with Dak? Lets be honest, there isnt a team in the league that has the money Jerry does on hand. Thats a big deal because i dont think there is a owner in the league that could write a check upfront that Jerry could. Not only that he is going to lose out on endorsements because he simply wouldnt be the QB of the Cowboys. They could always trade Love. There are plenty of teams that want him.

Then the trade down, which i would be in favor of if the WRs, Chaisson, Henderson are gone. Saints, Patriots, Raiders, Jaguars, Niners i think would all like to get in for him. Even if youre not going to draft him, just put it out there that its not out of the question and you will get calls for a trade.

The team has very little luck picking defensive ends in round 1. With the Taco debacle, I say they stay away from DE in round 1. WR will be addressed later in the draft, so look for secondary help in the first round.

I don’t agree that WR is a big need. I’d be fine with virtually any position other than QB.

I disagree wholeheartedly on both fronts. WR and CB are massive needs..how many games last year did we have we the offense didn't score? A lot. And we lost cobb..our cbs are trash..we need at least a solid #2, if not a borderline #1 cb..

I still think dL corner and safety are still in play for top pick. Wr is so deep we can snag a great one in later rounds

IMO WR is not a massive need. However, I would love for CeeDee if he fell that far to us. CB is IMO a massive need. Personally my hope is CeeDee or the top CB on the board.

Why in the world would edge rusher be not be considered at 17?

Nothing has happened to change the fact we need a long term answer at RDE.

SAF, CB, DT, TE, WR, Edge are all on the table for the top round picks.
I always believe in the theory, most worthy. Not the best available not for knead. You take the guy who deserves to be picked up 17th it still might be there

Quincycarter era,

There are no 1st round DE this yes besides the LSU kid. There a plethora of CB and WR that can start for team this season and these two positions are a need. I truly belive this is the year that we are going to draft the best football player onthe board round 1-3. Mccartyh loves drafting WR's early.

WR would be at the bottom of my list so if I had to pick between these two I'd say CB.

I really don’t think we go DE in round 1, unless they are in love with Chaisson (I’m not). He’s most likely going to be gone nevertheless. They hate drafting S high and Delpit/McKinney will both be there in the 20’s with guys like Winfield and Duggar there in round 2. No TE is worth a 1st rounder especially when you’ve just paid Jarwin, Kmet goes in round 2.

You need a CB1 or at least another outside corner. You would really like an upgrade from Cedrick Wilson at slot WR. Assuming everyone at RDE is reinstated, we can go into the season with who we have now at DE, S, & DT without serious concern.

Yeah CB is the chalk but I'd like to believe they will stick to their board.

I don't know how you can say this. You have 2 nfl caliber Wrs on the entire roster and a Te who is questionable at best..This team definitely needs a pass catcher, specifically a WR..especially when you factor in mccarthy and his spread offense..he goes 4 wide A LOT..we don't even have a #3

If we still had nimrod Rod and ole Red, I’d be concerned. I think this new regime has a better scope than the dinosaur.
