Comics and Movies

I thought the Eternals was very average. And they thought they add and use well known acting figures from the smash hit series Games of Throne, ..ala actor Kit Harington (Jon Snow)
..and Richard Madden ( Robb Stark) to help attract more viewing audiences.

That failed on it's face, imo. And i'm also another that did not care for the casting of Sersi, (Gemma Chan)
sorry but i thought she was too old for that lead role, and she herself did nuthin, to add appeal
to the character or the movie itself. I guess iwas really hoping for a Gal Gadot like casting, one that
i could immediately fall in love and follow her every word and movement.

The Eternals was a movie i could see and totally forget what i saw when i went out of the theater.
It didn;t register or stay with me at all.

Loved Eternals. It’s an interesting film it’s so divided either people love it or hate it. I get why people do. I’m not familiar with the comic so that’s probably why I have a different opinion on the movie…

Is that something you added, or did you just mean you couldn't resist posting them?
It is a deviant art cover by an artist by the name of NewRetro70s (link). The two things that immediately caught my eye were the 15-cent price and the No. 93 issue number. That would put it firmly in the late 60s/early 70s era. And no Supergirl comic had that long a run of issues back then.

DC Comics devoted some issues to Lynda Carter's likeness in its 2015 Wonder Woman '77 mini-series. Here's a link if anyone wants to view them:

Hmm. The roll call included characters like Siryn, Strong Guy, and Wolfsbane. It has left me wondering how much will the series give them attention. Then I wondered when was the last time I saw these three outside the pages of a comic book?

I can't think of any Strong Guy appearances since the 90's animated series. He was glossed over if I remember correctly.

The same goes for Siryn. I had to google it. Didn't recall her appearance in X-Men: The Last Stand, which is not surprising. I try not to remember that movie. She did give everyone a splitting headache in a tiny X2 scene though:

Kinda forgettable. The character's father, Banshee, was way more memorable in X-Men:First Class in my opinion.

Wolfsbane's last appearance (that I can think of) was the most memorable of the three for two reasons. First, because she appeared in the often delayed, eventually released and sad The New Mutants. Second, Maisie Williams, of Game of Thrones fame, played the character. At least Williams had the opportunity of representing her character the best out of those three.
