I live in the DC area. Can't wait to listen to radio on the way to work tomorrow. A lot of Commander fans will have excuses all week but they still lost. It is Loserville in DC for another week. Nothing better IMO, except if I lived in Philly and it was Philly loser week. If there was loser weeks, I always prefer Philly loser weeks because I hate their fans that much more.

Not really sure what you are getting at.

That was essentially a second string team out there.

Glad we got the win, but lets look at it objectively. We were very lucky to get so many turnovers and to only turn it over once.
There are no moral victories and no good losses in Division games..... and no excuses

I was STUNNED to hear Troy actually say that the A. Brown PI was a bad call.

I was laughing about that because Brennaman said "he just ran him over!".

Then replay just showed normal handchecking.

Then Troy said something like "I don't know what he was looking at".

brennaman has plenty mistakes during game. he makes it seem plays well short of first down seem closer than what they are. he’s much less annoying than buck though

Cowboys made some dumb mistakes.

Yes, refs were off on a few calls, but other mistakes hurt Dallas as well. This should have been a blowout.

The offense left points on the field: missed FG (ok rain), settling for FGs instead of scoring TDS.

Against teams like KC, gonna have to score TDs & limit the mistakes

Washington’s excuses...meh. Dallas let them hang around.

Gonna enjoy this one for a few days though lol

Had to laugh at the end of the game when Troy kept talking about the Commanders basically losing because of injuries. In these conditions, with our stupid mistakes, with these terrible officials, with this defense...we deserved some MAJOR props winning this one.
Yeah, troy, but our blokes stepped up more and more often. And, yes, we know only the Skins have injuries you rube.

The only reason this game was not a blowout in our favor was because of the terrible officiating.

Cousins is a overhyped, mediocre QB who has never won a big game to save his life. His only successful season came when Romo was hurt for basically the entire year and the rest of the East was terrible and they won by default. Otherwise, he's not sniffing another division title. Looks good inside the 20s but when it comes time to make a play when it counts, he fails as always. There is a reason the Skins have always been hesitant to sign him long term. I can't see that they do now. Unless they are content to paying a lot of money to a QB who will just keep your team afloat and not suck.

Cowboys are a better team. Better running back and wide receivers. Quarterback has more upside. Front seven is better though we probably have a better back four due to Norman alone. That dude is a beast.

That said.
Injuries, injuries and more injuries...I've seen teams get hit by the injury bug but Jesus...this is ridiculous! Did the Commanders lose because of injuries? I dont think so...Did Injuries lessen our chances of winning...Of course...to say it didnt is just idiotic. We have back ups of back ups playing at this point.

M*A*S*H has nothing on us.

3/5 of our offensive lineman were OUT for the game. a 4th has TWO sprained ankles
I corner playing with a cracked rib, the other was out
Jonathan Allen, out for season
Mason Foster, out for season
Starting D tackle broke his wrist today, so dont know if he will be back this year.
Jordan Reed cant stay healthy for ****. That guy gets hurt if the wind blows on him.

In addition, We have NO WR help. Losing Djax and Garcon kicked our *** big time.

I think Cousins is a good QB. If you got weapons, he can get the ball to all of them. The problem is, if you dont have weapons, what can he do...Not much it seems. Poster above is correct. Between the 20's he's great...Redzone, he sucks and sucks hard. If he was better in redzone, I'd put him top 10-12. But because he sucks so much in the redzone and cant win primetime/big games, he's no higher than 15-18 at this point. Hes a poor mans Matt Stafford...They both Put up decent numbers, but they dont win anything meaningful, so they look better than they really are.

In today's game, Matt Stafford threw for well over 400 yards -> Detroit only put up 15 points. Man did he choke hard in the redzone 0.0

was listening to the end of the Commanders radio broadcast and Doc Walker said the cowboys didn't earn the victory today:rolleyes:
Skins fans in denial. Washington Post story on the game says "Cowboys not very good", well if that's the case how bad are the Skins?

I like Aikman as an announcer, but sometimes he goes out of his way trying not to show any Cowboys bias.

Next week I believe is Tony Romo's first Cowboys game...can't wait.

Tony's really gonna be giving away the Cowboys playbook pre snap. I don't know if I'm ready for this.

I expect nothing less. Troy will do anything to avoid giving the Cowboys credit. Also liked that our schedule is tough going forward. You could almost hear the excitement in his voice.

I really do believe Troy doesn't care for Jerry Jones. That Jimmy Johnson firing still bothers Troy and the way his time ended in Dallas with he and Jerry getting into about Jerry not wanting to release Troy because of the salary cap hit and Troy wanting the opportunity to sign with another team. I think there was a lot going on behind the scenes that we probably don't even know about.

All I know is living in Central Virginia amongst the Commander fans I have noticed there seems to be less Commander gear as I go around town and I'm sure this week it'll drop to near zero cuz they're a bunch of bandwagon douchebags
