I totally disagree with this. The skins aren't world beaters, but shanahan is squeezing out what he can from this group. I can tell you shanahan has made a difference in Laron Landry. Last year the guy was terrible in every facet of his game. He was taking bad angles, falling for double moves. This year he's the best safety in the NFC by far. Even Carlos Rodgers look competent back there.

I wacthed that game with Green Bay yesterday. The packers dominated that game yesterday in the first half stats wise, but were only up 7. The Commanders made a crucial goaline stand and hung around just enough to win at the end. Mcnabb was getting killed yesterday, but they were mentally tougher than GB. If you don't think shanahan isn't making a difference up their your kidding yourself.

I'm not even getting into this, because there is so much fail in your post that I actually feel overwhelmed by it.

I would certainly rather have Shanny, but it still doesn't mean the Skins are good this year.

Got for it I'm all ears. Please dispute one thing in my post that's untrue.

For 1, LaRon Landry is still terrible in coverage. So him being the best safety in the NFC is only indicative of how atrocious the safety position in the conference as a whole must be.

The Skins are relying on a lot of luck.

No doubt.

Last week Vick goes down and they would have lost otherwise.

This week Matthews and Finley go down.

They lost both games if these things don't happen. They are the worst 3-1 team I can remember.

Landry of last year or this year?... he is actually playing the FS position now and making tackles and defencing passes all over the field (i have watched 2 deadskin games this year and i swear, that guy is a different player) and like the poster said, the coaching change there has made quite a difference. i dont see any fail in his post... its a factual observation. We need a head coach like that who will bring accountability and discipline to our team.

This year.

Where was he yesterday against the Pack? Against us? Against the Rams?

Shanahan and Landry aren't why the Skins are 3-2. They are a lucky, lucky group.

Where was he?... well... he forced a fumble on GB first drive and practically won the game for the deadskins by intercepting Rogers in OT.

If Landry continues to play at the level he's playing he will be a starter in the pro bowl. If you can't see the difference in his play from this year to last I don't know what to tell you.

The one thing I will get to enjoy the rest of this season is the Foreskin's fall. It will come. They aren't very good and their luck won't hold out.

I'll give him the fumble, but he wouldn't have been in a position to intercept that pass if Green Bay took care of business during regulation.

He's still nowhere to be found in coverage often.

Here comes that talent thing again.

It's old at this point.

The luck thing is funny though.

How can you not deny your team has been lucky in all of your wins? You all have not dominated any team thus far. You haven't beaten anyone. You've won the games but you surely haven't BEATEN anyone. Your team is much worse than your record. You literally have squeaked by ALL of your wins.

Enjoy your improbably 3-1, it is very unlikely to continue.

Seriously...may be the worst 3-1 team I have seen.
