The Commanders are not expected to make a QB switch after their bye.

Jason Campbell is getting more work with the ones because Mark Brunell (ribs) is a little banged up. If Brunell misses practice on Monday, Campbell may end up starting because Brunell is injured. But for now, Commanders head coach Joe Gibbs' starting quarterback is Mark Brunell.

I really think, though, that Gibbs is doing it to protect Campbell. I just don't see how he can be confused for an NFL QB.

I really hope we are ready to bring it against the skins,
they are good enough to sneak up on us

No, they really aren't. They are a bad football team. Their defense is absolutely horrible. They can't stop the run, especially Andrea Carter and Holman. They have ZERO pass rush and their CB's may be the worst in the league. Offensively, they're just as bad. Their oline is so overrated, particularly OT's Samuels and Jansen. These cats get beat all the time. Brunell may be worst then Bledsoe. His arm is done and so is his legs. He never goes down field which is wasting the talent of Moss. Portis is a beast though, runs hard and he's fast. That team is in BIG TROUBLE. They have "cap" issues and they have no picks for next years draft. And, did you know, they're the oldest team in the league.. To sum it all up, THEY SUUUCK!!!!!!!

The draft is a perfect science. Just ask Priest Holmes, Rod Smith, Kurt Warner, Antonio Gates, Willie Parker, Adam Vinatieri, Mike Sellers, Jake Delhomme, Adewale Ogunleye, London Fletcher, James Thrash, Mike Vanderjagt, Jon Kitna, Brian Finneran, Dominic Rhodes, Nick Harper, Sammy Knight, Michael Lewis, Jeff Garcia, Hollis Thomas, Jeff Wilkins, Mack Strong, among others. They'll all tell you if it weren't for the draft they don't know where they'd have ended up. TROLL.

If there is any irony, it's that, of these two QB's who started the season behind aging QB's who have lacked production to date in 2006, the UDFA is the one that's managed to unseat the established veteran, while the 1st round draft pick still rides the pines 23 games into his NFL career.

When the NFL starts spotting the Skins points for starting a 1st rounder at QB, then Campbell's draft status might matter.

I live in the Northern VA area and word around here is that Campbell just isn't very good and the skins now believe they missed bigtime on him. He looks the part and does make some nice throws but he continues to make to many mistakes in practice and doesn't seem to be grasping the offense at all. This may not be true at all but it is the talk of the town and may explain why Campbell isn't even #2 on the depth chart.

:lmao2: Now you feel like you need to pull misinformation out? Ill be the first to admit that Campbell might not be the QB of the future. But thats because he hasnt taken a snap yet.

I dont know where you are getting this information from, because all it can be is speculation. All I have heard about campbell is good things from Saunders and Gibbs. Now sure, they might be covering for him, but what are the other people talking from? Everything if speculation right now, and you can't put too much stock on speculation

I don't think he's pulling that info out of his arse, I've heard the same thing regarding Campbell. I've heard it talked about on WTEM many times. Don't know if its true but I damn sure heard it as others have..

You REALLY don't expect Gibbs and Saunders to bad mouth Campbell, do you?

you keep telling yourself that. But any team can beat anyone else during the season.

Im not saying we are going to win, but, we are coming off of a bye week, and we are playing at home.

Anything can happen, and the skins still have a reasonable shot at winning.

and those are the same people that you all ridicule for not writing the Commanders off  So what are you going to believe?

You should know by now that the media only gets paid to stir up the pot. To cause contraversy. Could this all be attribute to that?
