Their team just can't get it done. After all they've invested in RG3, rebuilding is going to be pretty difficult. Just wait til they have to pay Alfred Morris. No way he ends up staying there. Someone will pull a Laurent Robinson ala Jaguars with him and over pay him.

Shanahan is almost certainly done after this year. And I'd love to finally pair him up with Romo, and have him run this offense. Put Callahan back on the offensive line full time.

The real test of this division is going to be maintaining a competitive edge against the Eagles. Hopefully Foles hits a ceiling at some point once people have seen more of his tendencies. But it certainly looks like the Giants and Commanders are done for the foreseeable future.

I think once we have rebuilt this defensive line, we'll be poised to have one of the best team in the NFC East. And honestly, I think Shanahan would bring some running game to this team finally. I'd give Kiffin another year with a new defensive line.

The 'Skins are going to be straight doo doo for awhile I believe. Waaay too many problems there to get all of them fixed in one offseason. It'll be fun to look back a few years from now and see how all those draft picks panned out for the Rams while the Commanders fans pout.

Best part is they will be giving a top 5 pick away this year....

If I could give this a million likes I would.

I let my skid fan friend at work know about this every chance I get.

Check out this picture of their stadium in the 3rd Q.

I agree with the Commanders take, but Shanahan with the Cowboys? Not likely.

I think Washington will have something like $25 in cap space which will make the rebuilding go a lot quicker. That's enough to buy 5 or 6 good players on the FA market. If they add two good WRs, their offense might click if Morris and RG return to 2012 form.

I hope not.

No matter how bad we have it, I always take comfort in the fact the Deadskins are worse off.

Shanahan would never come here to be an assistant coach.

You guys and your fantasies.

Nope..

..as long as the Garrett dog and pony show continues

..and other teams like the Eagles go out and sign coaches and offensive systems that outperform anything we put up..

..the real teams wil win and we will play at it.

Sorry..

I've seen this all for too long with this team.

Not really they have several players they will need to try to resign Orakabo (sp), Hall etc.

Yes, it's going to be difficult because of the draft picks given up for RG-knee; however, I don't think the contract of Alfred Morris is a big issue. He has 2 more year remaining on his contract after this season.
