Yep, these Skins have done an amazing job with 'real' football men running the show.

The Rams are getting Hershel Walker value on that trade. The Commanders are screwed.

Danny & Mikey probably felt it would in the higher 20's and therefore worth the trade up..... They probably regret it now...

Their team just can't get it done. After all they've invested in RG3, rebuilding is going to be pretty difficult. Just wait til they have to pay Alfred Morris. No way he ends up staying there. Someone will pull a Laurent Robinson ala Jaguars with him and over pay him.

Shanahan is almost certainly done after this year. And I'd love to finally pair him up with Romo, and have him run this offense. Put Callahan back on the offensive line full time.

The real test of this division is going to be maintaining a competitive edge against the Eagles. Hopefully Foles hits a ceiling at some point once people have seen more of his tendencies. But it certainly looks like the Giants and Commanders are done for the foreseeable future.

I think once we have rebuilt this defensive line, we'll be poised to have one of the best team in the NFC East. And honestly, I think Shanahan would bring some running game to this team finally. I'd give Kiffin another year with a new defensive line.

We are going to have to rebuild eventually as well. And it will be equally as difficult. Some may not want to hear it, but romo only has about 3 or 4 years left playing at a relatively high level. The witten ware miles hatcher core is about done. We will be legit contenders before these guys retire?? The defense already lacks talent and needs rebuilt. We need to find our qb of the future to replace romo. And probably a new HC if JG can't get it done this year or next. But we do have a good group of young guys that give me hope for the future. All in all, were still probably in better positions than the giants and skins.

With our old core in place, I think our ceiling is limited.

I just listened to RGKnee's press conference. He said that some things can and need to change, but it's not happening.

To me, that is a shot at his coaches. RGKnee and his Coach do not get along, and the funny thing is, RGKnee is actually a sucky QB that the Commanders can not get rid of. But Shanahan and his son better start packing after this season

I like it!!

I know this may sound "tin foil"... But isn't Shanny tight with people in the media, like Peter King. I remember something of the sort the year he signed in Washington. The issue thought is King is SI.

I wonder if today's report was a salvage a reputation type article to make it seem Shanny was hamstrung here... It's not like he has a good, build a team personnel track record that I'm aware of.

Shanahan literally may not see midnight as the head coach. He's cooked.

SI has reported that Shanahan almost quit BEFORE the Wild Card game last year because of preferential treatment givrn to RGIII by Snyder. Shanahan wants out. He wants the Houston. Snyder is furious about leaks from the Shanahan camp about what happened last year. Griffin clearly wants Shanny gone. It's a real soap opera in DC.

I love it!

The truth is that it was always going to be a long rebuild for them. When they made the trade, they were always going to suffer some lean years in the near term for hopefully prosperous years down the road, when Griffin reached his peak in his late 20s and early 30s.

In a sense, their unexpected success last year makes it look like they're slipping. The truth is, that in terms of perception last year's success was something of a curse. They're in a better place than if they had signed Matt Flynn and continued on the FA QB carousel.

How many of you got off the Cam Newton bandwagon last year? Careers are long.

Shows you how much you need pass defense and a good QB. You have to have good coaching thru out the organization but you have to have good players more so. For the millionth time players play and coaches coach.

As bad as we have it with Jerry, Snyder is ten times more clueless. As I always say when people compare the two: at least Jerry was smart enough twice in his life to hire Jimmy and Parcells. Snyder getting brutalized by Washington papers and rightfully so.

Gee I wonder what Lil Danny gonna do. Throw U Texas money at Sabin? Sumlin? Trestman has a rep for salvaging QBs but he has a job.
It will be interesting to see what Little Napoleon is gonna do.

If the locker room is as poisoned as that SI article says it is, the bigger names may not want to coach there. Why would Sabin want to inherit that headache when he's got in made at Alabama? Or Shaw from Stanford.

Anyway, somebody will take the job. But whoever it is, he will pick up a ton of problems based on what is coming out of DC these past few days.
