Yeah I said something like this before, don't know if you're referring to me. In this case, Lloyd is getting $10 of his $12 M in two bonuses. That's two big pay days. His salaries per year for the first 3 years are chump change. Then you know no matter how well he plays when his salaries bump up in 2009, he will be asked to restructure or outright released. With the bonuses being guaranteed money and the back end guaranteed to NOT be paid, I don't see the incentive to be a team player. His performance incentive is to void the final year of the contract, which he's not going to see anyway. I bet there is a correlation to free agent flops and contracts like this.
