Commanders D exposed the Giants

Their D held the Giants to 3 points all game and a TD at the end that didnt even matter in a game that was a "must win" game for the Giants. I really hope Rob Ryan takes their gameplan into consideration during preperation.

Can what they did, be distilled down to a doable game plan by our own defense? If it calls for rattling Eli with hits and pressure- then I am not sold on the idea that we can emulate their success. Knowing "what" the Commanders did, and being able to clone it, are two different things.

The Commanders D is leagues ahead of ours. It breaks my heart to say that too because I hate the Commanders more than any other team. They have more skill, more heart, and more leaders than our guys on defense. We have some players who literally just cant hack it anymore. You can't squeeze blood out of turnips. It doesn't come down to coaching, it comes down to players hacking it.

Yeah, they intercepted passes. If that is the roadmap to beating them we are in deep trouble. How many turnovers has this D generated in the last 4 or 5 weeks? I've been on the "fire Campo" bandwagon for a few years now and I'm not getting off anytime soon.

Hopefully the defense will step up when it matters this time.

I know Kitna has nothing to do with interceptions. That game we had two interceptions. One was McCann and the other was to close the game by Ball. Maybe you should know what you're talking about before posting.... AGAIN>

Looks like Osi will be back. I was watching NFL Network and he looked very comfortable going through drills. This is not good with one of our lineman down.

On the bright side, Hicks and Manningham looked pretty beaten up last game vs the Jets, and I think they will have issues this game. That does leave a healthy Cruz though....

Oh yeah, cause statistics tell the whole story don't they? Not. Our defense is simply incapable of doing what the Commanders defense did to the Giants. The truth hurts sometimes doesn't it? The difference between their defense and ours is that they have the talent and don't always play up to that talent.. and we simply DO NOT have the talent in the first place. You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip.

Jerry did NOTHING in the offseason to improve our defense. Quality FA'S were getting picked up left and right and we just sat there and did nothing. How in the hell are you going to start a season with players on defense like Keith Brooking, Bradie James, Terence Newman, Alan Ball, Spears, Spencer, etc? In that list you have players that no longer have the talent, never had the talent, and self professed quitters. Then you see Jerry in the press box looking exacerbated and confused when our defense gets wrecked every game. lol @ that and the clueless fans who can't figure out what is wrong with our defense.

One of the keys to this game will be to double Cruz and take him out of the game. Hicks has a gimpy hamstring right now and not playing at 100% and Ballard is out too. Manningham is also gimpy and practically covers himself. zi don't think their offense is going to be as potent as last game. They are beatable and I think we beat them in a close game.

Not only did he get paid.. but he got paid millions. He is a disgrace to this team and to the star. He is going to get dropped like a bad habit at the end of this season. A lot of players are gonna get the axe.
