Exactly. If you look at Qb's like Brett Favre, they do the same thing. Hopefully since JC is young, he can still learn from these mistakes. If he doesnt learn to change his ways, he will be in for a very mediocur career

Campbell winds up his throws like a freaking baseball player! His mechanics are terrible!!

The Skins left a lot of yards on the field today. Brunell can't hit the deep balls anymore but he's deadly accurate on the underneath stuff; Campbell's the polar opposite. He has to stop rifling the five-yard passes.

Spoken like a true Commander fan. ;)

I cant put to much on the Commanders win. Miami is terrible, I picked them to be one of the worse teams in the nfl. However i'll give credit where it's due, Commanders won the game so congrats.

The running game was good and JAson campbell was average..good arm but bad decisions and some poor throws.

and Santana Moss, and Carlos Rogers, and Fred Smoot, and your pass-rush

Santana- Was open a lot, but most of the throws were off target. I wish we would have at least tried a deep pass to him (although, I bet he was being doubled on most of the deep routes, which is why we didnt trry to throw it).

Rogers- I have always liked Rogers, and while most skin fans were fast to jump on this offseason, I have defended him (which is probably why my opinion is biased). But this is my take on him. At halftime I thought Rogers did a great job. Through almost the first quarter and a half, I thought he did great. It seemed as though Miami was almost scared to throw to his side. They kept trying to throw towards Smoot most of the first half (which turned out successful). The only play I can really remember Rogers getting beat on was the short 5 yards TD pass. The second half, he did get beat quite a bit. There was about a 2 minute span were he got beat 3 times in a row I believe. All in all though- I though he should turn out to be a decent #2 corner, and be ok to fit in with this defense.

Fred Smoot- He made some good plays, and made some bad plays. Played a lot more mediocur then I would like, however, did bring that fire back to our defense. I love seeing his enthusiasim on the field, and hopefully will be a decent playher for us this year.

Pass Rush- I wont deny that our pass rush just wasnt there. After seeing Carter get that early sack, I thought that our defensive might have chaged, but that obviously isnt the case. I think it is pretty obvious that we will need to blitz a lot to get pressure on the QB (something I dont think we did a lot of today)

I am actually ok with a Skins win and Eagles loss today...

The Skins cant possibly go too far with Campbell.... 6 wins at the most.

McNabb can turn it on for a little while... probably 9 wins...

So all in all... Today is going good so far....

Sucky thing about the Dolphins though.

They are a different team at home in September.

We're in for another dogfight next week.

Kerry Collins. Thanks. The way Campbell throws reminds of him. He had a great deep ball but short passes were his weakness.

Didnt collins lead the gints to the superbowl?

Not saying the skins are anywhere near superbowl cailbur, but, the point is a little irrelevant

Now if the eags will cooperate and beat the skins next week they will both be 1-1. I should root for the skins since the eagirls are the real threat we have to face for the division= but the satisfaction of seeing them lose trumps everything else.

And got blown out in that SB. And Collins accomplished very little after that.

Seriously though, that whole sig was meant to be a joke to begin with. I put that up after a loss last year when gibbs said that Brunell "worked his guts out" even though we lost.

Changed it about a month ago because I thought it was time for a chance... dont you think? ;)

Lol at least win your first game before talking about "competition in the division". What will you be saying if the Giants win tonight or will you have jumped off the ledge?
