Commanders fans still 'dogging' me wherever i go!

People not from this area have no idea how it is around here when that team wins some games.

I live in northern VA, and the hysteria around here is simply rediculous. Skins fans get way to high after a win, and a meaningless one at that.

Give them a dose of this fact, They spent a #1 pick on a QB and to make the playoffs they had to turn too a 35 year old career backup who didn't take a snap for like 7 years!. Ask them what happens next year?, Does Campbell start because he's younger?, and if he does at the first sign of Trouble will the Skins fans be calling for Collins? Oh, I can't wait for that soap opera!.

From the Skins beat reporter Jason LaConfora:

Spoke to some highly thought of NFL execs over the past few days and to them this (sticking with Campbell in '08) is a no brainer.

As one top dog put it: "You ride the hot hand at quarterback. You play Collins until your season ends. The only way Campbell plays is if he's completely healthy and the other guy falls apart. It's Collins's show right now. But they've got a potential franchise quarterback there. How many teams can say that? You build your franchise around Jason Campbell. He's the guy next season. That shouldn't be an issue,"

For those of you who live in the Md., Northern Va., and DC area, I'm sure you are getting the same treatment. I just smile and say, "yeah, you guys are HOT"!! They then get quiet and happy, but they don't see the 'hot lava boiling' inside of me! These guys swear up and down they're heading to Arizona and destroying everyone in their path. C'mon Seattle!!

So sorry to hear that you are getting dogged wherever you go. It might have something to do with the fact that you live in THE DC AREA. :banghead:

Skins fans havent earned the right to talk any smack this season. Where were you guys after we beat you the first game?

Just curious to the recent trend in skin posters now....where were you guys after the first time the Boys played the skins?

This is the DC area, but there are just as many cowboys fans as the other team.

yes Romo, a franchise QB...Campbell well.....not so much! Seriously some of you tools actually argued that Campbell IS better then Romo (going into the season).....now its potential Franchise QB....next year at seasons end there could be a Quincy Carter comparrision for you to deal with:laugh2:

Seriously you realize that Ramsey had a better first season then Campbell in his 9 games taking over midway through and a better 2nd season........:laugh2:

the only thing I can't wait for is the excuse-making for when they lose this Saturday

this customer at work was trying to dog me the other day about getting man-handled on Sunday, and I simply replied that the game didn't mean anything, and he shut up rather quickly

Uh...........didn't they spend two #1's and like a 3rd rounder on him?

Not awful.........GOD AWFUL.

Yep, and the really interesting part is they made the trade a week prior to the draft.

I can almost guarantee that when they lose, they will be on this board saying how lucky we are we didnt have to play them.

The fact that he had to ask the question tells you the answer. You think a top tier QB gets his job questioned by a 36 year old pine rider?

I would agree with you.

They'll move on to the great off season pretty quickly....it take many weeks of study to figure out how to use both their draft picks.

I was at the store in line for a script from the doctor and some skins fan comes up to me (i am wearing as i always do my dallas gear) and says....."sorry about those Cowboys"....with this huge grin, and i smile back and say....Yep, 13-3 1st seed in the NFC i feel real bad for them. The skins fan just loses the smile and says nothing.

I know that was a big win for them and all, but geeez, it was one meaningless game....a game i was at and watched pre game warm ups and said "Dallas isnt even into this game".......

At the game all the fans were saying crap, but the most i heard was, in two weeks the Skins will be beating you guys again in Dallas......cocky fans considering how hard it is to win in Seattle....even when Seattle is not that good

Joe Jacoby the Ex Foreskin Tackle said the exact same thing on his post game show. He said, one team was hyped and jumpin around while the other team was calm going thru pre game drills. He said it was so obvious the game meant NOTHING to the Boyz and was MEANINGLESS...
