It simply amazes me how you cowboy fans put down my owners moves,i dont agree with all his moves..but since he took over he has 2 playoff wins on his belt and in that same time frame jerry jones has none..and its been since 96!!!

I wouldn't take two playoff wins for the results; Your Owners' first playoff victory was only a result of having the "best" team money could buy by overpaying to get Brad Johnson for one year and a bunch of one-year wonders, only to fade in oblivion until your next playoff victory, when your owner promptly decided to sign over-rated and over-hyped FA's that offseason and have another crappy 5-11 season.

Playoff victories don't mean much if you don't do go far, or have one victory every five seasons.

The disconnect between Sean Taylor, Shawn Springs and Joe Gibbs is a symptom of the Washington front office's recent mismanagement. Gibbs will have trouble turning around the team as long as the roster is such an exercise in incoherence, excess and fickleness.

redskins1, the comments here were in response to the main article above. I would like you to focus on the term "recent mismanagement" and comment on it for me. The Cowboys had a rough period in the late 90's and early in this decade. No doubt about it, the reason was mismangement by Jerry, pure and simple. But fans here, and most Commanders fans as well, reckon that things in the Cowboys front office have gotten a lot better in the last few years. Can you say the same about Snyder and company?

Jerry has demonstrated that he learned from his mistakes. We are waiting to see the Commanders demonstrate the same. I believe that the Commanders organization has a flawed concept on how to build a winner, and I believe they are executing poorly. We'll see if I'm right.

You have a terrible owner who doesn't know what he is doing, a bunch of yes men in the FO, and players who make your front office cater to them, not the other way around which is the way it should be! S. Taylor is making Joe Gibbs look like more of an idiot than he is by undermining him and not answering his calls or PLEAS to come to camp; you know when your organization is in shambles when your HOF coach has to call your star player and beg him to come to camp, only to recieve dead air on the other end of the phone because he won't answer his calls. Your coaches? They have no control. Your players? Are overpaid and overzealous, complaining all the time. Believe me, I live in DC, and all I hear the players saying besides C Portis (who is actually a decent guy and the only person I TOLERATE on the foreskins' roster) is that the team is in total disaray. Your organization is basically selling your soul and cap space for one playoff victory every half-decade; at least we are trying to create or maintain some continuity and develop players rather than acting rashly like you guys do.

Come to think of it, what the hell does your coach even do anyways? Al Saunders runs your offense and Gregg Williams "coaches" your defense. Gibbs doesn't even do anything. Does he work the concession stands or ticket counters?
