Commanders kicker and DCC

I thought it was a dick move when I saw him doing that. I would have laid him out if I had been out on the field.

This wasn't during the typical "pre-game warmups" that happen half an hour before the game. This was right before the game started and the teams were about to come out of the locker room. He had already done his warmup. It was pretty clear he was trying to be an ******* about it. He ran through the kicks right into a couple of cheerleaders.

He's trying to act like a ******. He's a kicker.

If it was not warm up time, why were our guys out there too?

Cheerleaders perform at midfield before kickoff at every NFL stadium that has cheerleaders. I don't believe the Commanders kicker would've done that to the Commanders cheerleaders. It was one of those **** Dallas moves and totally disrespectful. When he threw the pom poms without knowing the ladies' routine or formation changes, it could've resulted in an injury (yes cheerleaders get injured too). That performance is right before the game starts. He had plenty of time to warm up before then. I don't care that they're pretty girls in short shorts. They are human beings who deserve respect. Skins kicker is a scumbag.

it appears to me that those girls are dancing around on a football field....

Im 38 and hot chics in short shorts will neverr be a distraction.

You're in a coma. :D

I find it interesting that he's kicking off the tee from the 35. Why not set up on the 30? It would have been at least a little bit safer. And did he really need to run into the middle of the dance routine after each kick? Also, throwing the pom-poms at the end seemed really passive aggressive or something. He threw them right at the girl's feet, when he could have just dropped them on the other pom-poms which apparently weren't in the way, since he didn't move them.

Probably not a big deal, and maybe there was nothing intentionally ******y happening. But hey, kickers gotta warm up, dancers gotta dance, so they have to share the space. Seems like he could have been a little more considerate, but I bet Gano and the cheerleaders have warmed up/danced sharing a field a hundred times, like, since before high school. I hope there's usually less interaction.

Ask the Bears.

I wonder if this is the first time this has ever happened? It's the first time I've heard of this, but the DCC have been performing pre-game shows for years and I gotta believe they have peacefully co-existed with kickers doing their warm-ups until now.

So he's gay.

I'm actually thinking he might be. Seriously.

Sometimes there's a certain lack of respect... When he threw the pom poms and ran into their formation, I honestly thought he might be...

In addition to God watching His team play He also watches the pre-game and did not like what He saw so did this:

I knew I would be in the minority on this. That's fine. I played sports. Basketball in particular. And before games it was about focus. If I wanted to work on my shot or FTs before a game. I would be HIGHLY annoyed that entertainment was on the filed of play/court etc...while I am trying to get ready. Every part of the court should be available to me. You might want to work on bringing the ball up against halfcourt, fullcourt, 3/4 pressure...you might want to work on full length court inbounds plays...the things you might need the ENTIRE field of play is unlimited. Let me ask you this..if you are at a game...would you prefer your K (if need be) be able to work from any hashmark...any direction or any distance he may/may not think he will have to perform before a game...or would you rather look at cheerleaders?

So the fact that the cheerleaders have been doing this routine for decades without this kind of issue plays no part in it huh? He could not wait for the routine to end?

I want to wait for more comments before I post mine, but suppose for a moment we are Commander fans, and the video clip involves a Dallas kicker warming up while the Commander Band is still on the field.

Do you think a Commander fan's reaction would be comparable to the two Dallas reactions posted so far?

How does this hypothetical change anything?

They should have done to him what Roy Williams did to Bryan Barker:

I am pretty sure if that was our Kicker and their cheerleaders it would be all over the news.

I may be mistaken but I believe there is plenty of time available for kicking before and after the routine. He could also have moved the ball to the side. It is the Dallas Cowboy stadium and that routine has been going on during that time for years.
