A Washington, DC sportswriter, Shirley Povich, once wrote a line after Jim Brown and the Browns trounced the Commanders. It was haunting, funny, and really incredibly sad.

This is not the exact line, but it is close.

"Jim Brown, who was born genetically incapable of playing for the Commanders..."

I looked it up to find the exact line. I wouldn't post the corrected version, but I think his is even a little more hilarious than your paraphrase. And well...:skins:.

Man, why can't all our receivers be healthy for this game? It's just so much fun watching Deangelo get schooled by our receivers. Oh well, no matter who plays, I have no doubt Hall gets beaten deep on a double move. And by beaten deep, I mean by ten yards. Normally, I would have guessed Austin to be doing the beating, but since he's going to be out with a hammy, I'm guessing it will be Ogletree.
