I don’t know if this official statement by Washington has been linked yet, but it’s important.

First things first, it is disgusting by whoever wrote this to try to leverage the no doubt terrifying incident that happened to Robinson in their favor like this. Absolutely classless.

Beyond that, this is a statement a guilty party would make. I’m guessing Scumbag Snyder or someone close to him has done something very illegal.

I'm at a loss for words that anyone would even suggest that an AG would announce something like the sale of a team :omg:
why.... I concluded the majority of people are idiots a few years back.... you are surprised to see people think a state AG would have anything to do with the sale of a sports team? bahahahhaha

That tweet is ridiculous. Let's see where this goes but this is going to be super ugly.

Just as bad if an AG has no proof of wrongdoing to hold a press conference to seek attention.

Well why don't you name the ones locked up on the US?

you seem so sure- or so ill informed and naive at the real world....

You know what aggravates me most about all of this? The NFL is so anal with off the field player conduct. Yet some owners are far worse.

You aren't important enough for me to waste my time googling articles for you.

Both things can be true at the same time pretty much look across the the country, AG/DA make decisions based more on what it will do for their careers than what is necessarily right or wrong, sometimes they align and you become a rising start.

So it's a consumer protection lawsuit...still a reflection on shady Snyder

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2022/11/10/snyder-attorney-general-lawsuit-commanders/
D.C. attorney general sues Daniel Snyder, Commanders, NFL

The office of D.C. Attorney General Karl A. Racine (D) said Thursday it filed a consumer protection lawsuit against the Washington Commanders, Daniel Snyder, the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell, accusing them of colluding to deceive and mislead customers about an investigation of the team’s workplace to maintain the franchise’s fan base in pursuit of revenue.
